Ryoko Yonekura relishes villainous role in TV Asahi special drama
Wednesday 03rd September, 10:28 AM JST
TOKYO ―Actress Ryoko Yonekura, 33, and Hiroshi Tachi, 58, will star in a special drama this weekend to mark TV Asahi’s 50th anniversary. In the drama, “Kori no hana,” Yonekura plays a woman who poisons her husband’s lover for revenge.
She said she enjoyed playing a villainous character. “Actually, I can feel a lot of sympathy for my character. If I were married and my husband cheated on me, I would sue him and demand compensation.”
The drama will air on the TV Asahi network on Friday and Saturday.

Yup... All ovesized images are automatically rescaled to a width of 500 pixels.
That said, welcome back... 
I'm quite surprised that you're still motivated to sub this drama after all this time... But I'm glad you are.  
One thing: as you can see with the posted 'caps, Arial font is much more legible than Times Roman when it comes to subtitles... The serifs are unintelligible at the font size...

The font I was using was Cambria and personally I thought it was alright apart from the font size still needed increasing. Decided to change over to a font called Calibri which is very similiar to Arial but perhaps a bit nicer looking. Hopefully you're happier with that.

No rush to sort out the styles at the moment since I have no firm date to start releasing the video's in mind at the moment and with using embedded softsubs it's very easy for me to ammend the scripts/styles without having to go through the re-encoding of files etc...
Motivation is not an issue really, it's more finding the time and trying to believe in my skills a bit more. But for me everything has to be perfect and that alone slows me down a lot.

Expensive but then again they are legit Japanese Region 2 DVD's. Cost me a small fortune to buy my Okusama wa Majo Boxset (didn't help that it was out of print either). Meh I so want the Fushin no Toki DVD's but I'm just plain broke. If anyone one is willing to buy them for me, I'll considering subtitling them in the future.  |
