| Got the Cracker (the ITV production from the early 90ties) DVD boxset for my birthday. It's crude and rough (a bit like Manchester where the series take part). Robbie Coltrane is excellent! |

Yeah, but I thought it was sorta contrary to the indestructibility of the Terminator for it to get a glitch... I guess it could happen, but I still thought it a bit odd... _________________

okay the story sucks. it was dull and lame. as far as i can recall there wasn't even a real story. just people showing up here and there with cliche problems like drugs and lame backstabbing (not even close to Gossip Girl backstabbing), so old.
but the people who did the casting seriously has done an excellent job. lol. it's filled with eyecandies. everyone, the teacher, the principle. hot |
My family were watching that when I got home last night. It's 15 different types of crap _________________

I really hope Cameron's instability doesn't become a major plot mover this season, but I'm sure it will...We shall see! |
I was surprised to see that the redhead was a Terminator as well... They're knee-deep with 'em. _________________

My "to watch" spindle of J-Drama is getting seriously empty, so I turned to Netflix and struck gold.
A British detective series called "The Last Detective". It stars Peter Davison (Tristan from "All Creatures",and "Dr. Who").
He plays Dangerous Davis, a rumpled, middle aged Detective Constable... who gets no respect. From anyone. Not from his co-workers, his boss, or his estranged wife.
He's not a genius (Sherlock), and he's not a tough guy.
He's a cop. And he solves puzzles by knocking on doors and talking to people. (Those that don't slam the door in his face, anyway.)
The show is about 60% mystery, and 40% comedy... and the writing and the acting are absolutley top drawer.
Netflix lists 4 seasons of the show... but there aren't many episodes per season. Just two two parters per season.
It's been a long time since I've enjoyed a British mystery this much. _________________

Ya know, I'm beginning to realize that I enjoy British comedies quite a bit. There's something about the crass, sarcastic nature of the jokes I'm attracted to.
On a more topic related note, I've realized that I'm not watching Jdramas because I'm completely engrossed in my 1990s X-Men TV series. I've on the fourth season already. _________________

You should. I can hook you up with season 4 (The seasons are self-contained, so you don't need to watch them in order ) _________________
