Watching Aoi Tori every night. This is absolutely brilliant. Subtle, melancholic, heartbreaking and wonderfully unhurried. Great music. Natsukawa Yui is superb yet again. I wonder if a show this slow could be made nowadays.

Finished Brother Beat last night.

It wasn't particularly deep or moving, but continued to be enjoyable for much of the series. Tanaka Misako, despite her shared top billing, only played a supporting role. I wish the story had more time for her character.

Finished Mop Girl. It was a pretty decent series and I'd give it a 7/10. Huge thanks goes out to Geez and beem for their efforts on this series. Big Grin

I just finished Hanayome wa Yakudoshi. I was extremely tired and would have rather taken a nap but the phone kept ringing and I couldn't relax. It wasn't bad but it seemed a lot like a sitcom to me and I really don't care for sitcoms.

D'ya know, i'm sad for this to be coming to an end, because I like it so much, but in some ways i'll be happy to start something new. And I think I will watch something recent after this... dunno what yet though. I'm still watching Atsu-hime, which is still airing, but it doesn't seem recent. Maybe because it's a taiga. I watched episode 27 last night (of Atsu-hime).

I've started Yasuko to Kenji. A harmless bit of comic book come to life TV. I'd like to say something about it, either positive or negative, but...

Ooo! I know. Yamaguchi Sayaka is a regular. And Sato Eriko is in episode 3. Now there are a couple of positives for you.

Other than that... well, it's in color.

i am currently watching "Jotei", which stars Rosa Kato as the lead.

I am impressed with her acting ability, the story-line is ok, i am almost done with it, and this one came out in '07.

Just finished Itsuka Mata Aeru. Great drama, crappy ending. I'd still recommend it though. 8/10

Don't forget the sequels for Churasan! I sent you those as well, right? THEN take a break. Wink

I'm on epi 10 of Kita no Kuni Kara. Half way there! I'm thoroughly enjoying it.
