Also, the second season actually takes place during the same time frame as the first, and it fills in some of the blanks between the first season's episodes. The whole thing is being shown in chronological order this time, with the new episodes inserted when required.

I'm taking the opportunity to watch it again in chronological order, something I always meant to do, including the new episodes. It is as good as I remember, but the quality of the animation seems to be slightly lacking in the new episodes.
