Just finished taking apart and cleaning the throttle body on my car: my accelerator pedal had a sticky feel to it... But not like a Toyota, mind you.

Dayem, son. That's cool that you can do all that. Does the throttle body really get "dirty" enough to affect the air flow getting sucked into the engine?

It's not the restriction of airflow: the two throttle butterflies can get gunked up to the point where they sorta stick and make the gas pedal action notchy and abrupt.

All my friends working at Toyota are very much under pressure to clean their offices and hide all working mess, they also got instructions on how to behave. So the poor guy will be even more detached from how employees are really working and living their work life.
