With the $70 coupon, it'll cost around $380 for four tires with everything (installation, disposal, taxes)... That's cheaper than the four Bridgestones I bought previously.

Yeah, yours are gonna cost more 'cause they're 17-inchers, huh?
The RE960s have gotten really good reviews at tirerack.com and in bimmerforums.com...

Will your tax refund cover it?

The Contis and Michelins scored higher in the tirerack all-season test, but they're also more expensive than the Bridgestones.

Oh.
| Quote: | | the conti's are $30 cheaper on tirerack than the potenzas and the pilot a/s is roughly the same price. both of them are lighter 20lbs vs 25lbs and have wider sectional widths. i really would like to move up to a 215/40/17 but there isn't much to choose from in the all season. |
I guess when you move into those sizes, they're strictly performance tires for the dry.

Or have another set of wheels/tires for the mountains/winter/etc... That way, the road salt, chains, and crap won't mess up your good rims.

You American F1 fans, I'm just curious about how you watch the races? On Speedvision? Or do you watch it on some other channel or media outlet?

Right on. I was just curious You guys are always current on the standings and race results so I thought I'd ask. I haven't really watched much motorsports but I know the cable channel Speedvision has a lot of race programming.
