What is this ridiculous one hour ESPN special that LeBron is having to "announce" his decision. How utterly ridiculous. He is a very talented athlete but for someone who has played for seven years and doesn't even have one ring this media farce is the height of arrogance. Not even Jordan or Kobe did this ish....

It's the Summer of LeBron.

Shake Head

You'd think the guy cured cancer or something... Ridiculous.

Where's a pie-throwing protester when you need one?

Serious. I don't know if making such a spectacle outta this decision is necessarily going to serve him well down the road.

The addition of a brick would give it sufficient mass to carry from a distance. Beaten

Just hide the brick in an old red, white, and black Air Jordan and get to shoe chucking.

Somewhere, someplace, a superstar from LA is sitting back laughing at this spectacle that is the Lebron James free agency circus while enjoying his recently acquired fifth championship ring.

Regardless of where he signs, given all the hype, the attention he has gotten, Lebron had better win a championship. You don't pull a publicity stunt like an hour-long show on ESPN and expect not to get grilled if you don't win.

Yeah, I think this is just putting undue pressure on a man who theoretically should already have a ring. A foolish act.

Bush wasn't worth an Air Jordan.

NY papers are practically pleading for him to come to the Knicks, Bow along with all these foolish fans begging him to come, wonder how much tickets will cost then, as if they're not already over priced. Twisted Don't really consider him to be a 'winner' as far as other players in the league go, how soon the fans forget how he quit on the Cavs in game 5 and most of game 6 against the Celts. U Suck It is a stunt, still find it hard to believe people are actually going to watch it, what was that line P.T. Barnum said? hehe

I'll check here for who loses out on the James lottery Muack ...ever wonder where the money comes from? Shake Head 20 out of the 30 teams lost money this year for a total of 400 million, least that's what the owners say, Cavs lost 30 million with selling out every game, looks like it'll fall to the fan's wallets whoever ends up with him. Shameful Cry

James to the Heat.

Speaking of heat, Lebron James jerseys are being burned in Cleveland.

The trio of James, Wade and Bosh is formidable, but they aren't the clear favorites to win the East, let alone win it all. The Heat still have to fill out the rest of the roster and they won't have much cap space to work with. With Pierce and Allen returning, Boston are reigning East champs and is the team to beat in the conference. Chicago added Boozer, and with Rose and Noah, the Bulls have a solid team. The Magic are still a great team, though it'd be nice if Lewis can live up to his fat contract.

That's just the East. The Lakers are the champs, and have a solid core with Bryant, Gasol, Odom, Bynum and Artest. If Fisher resigns great, but the Lakers did pick up Steve Blake just in case. The Mavs still have a great roster now that Nowitzki and Haywood are returning, and as the Mavs found out in the playoffs you can't count the Spurs. Not sure how the Suns will fare without Stoudemire, but with Nash running the show the Suns are still competitive. Durant signing the extension with the Thunder provides them a young duo of Durant and Westbrook and they did give the Lakers a run during the playoffs.

It's going to be an exciting season to watch.

Looking forward to seeing Miami crash and burn now. Twisted

Who knows, maybe Shaq will whore himself to the Heat and play for free.
