Thanks for recommending Kamikaze Girls. I watched 50 minutes of it and didn't care for the storyline so this one didn't work for me. Oh, the one girl playing the piano with red glasses reminded me of Ugly Betty I loved Kyoko's "Lolita" getups too.
I really wish to see her in a romance comedy where she ends up with the hot guy at the end. _________________

I haven't seen her in that kind of movie, except for KK she normally plays serious roles. Dolls was a fair movie but her story in it was the best, skip everything but hers and you'll enjoy her role, a pop star with a twisted follower.

Really? Like I have to skip through scenes again? Trailers are often misleading in my opinion. But ok what about the serious doramas you mentioned? Has she had a fair chance at a nice romance in any dorama/movie? Like where a hot guy was really into her and she liked him too? _________________

I dunno. I personally didn't like Kyoko's story in Dolls. I love the song she has in Dolls, and the scene where she's with her fan when the flowers are blooming, but her fan and the whole movie still managed to creep me out. I think Dolls is just overly dark for a romance movie.
If you've seen Korean dramas and also like Won Bin, Kyoko co-stars with him in the drama Friends. It's only 4 episodes long. It's kinda on the serious side with no real comedy, but it is much lighter than Kamisama and the movie Dolls. _________________

Oh no... a dark romance is definitely not what I would like to see Seems like she was cast for a number of dramas over the years. I hope she is getting a fair "shake" with directors and producers in the jdorama world. Oh well, I'll just keep checking back from time to time to see how she progresses since I liked her in Kamisama. _________________

Haven't seen this yet but looks interesting, more of along the lighter side of a romantic drama.

Flying thru Remote, just finished episode 4, have to admit I'm enjoying it though I think the case with the clown murders ended poorly, least Kyoko looks quite....

I love the school case, very touching. Wait until you get to episode 8, it's quite chilling. _________________

Yeah Yatterman is pretty descent. I actually saw it with Spanish subs because I can't figure out how to use .rar files, which had the English subs. At times it's really cheesy, but funny. It's a show that reminds me a lot of Sentai, so I found it easy to watch. _________________

Cheesy flicks/dramas are better for her, seems to suit her better. Got the film at Live Journal, it's hard subbed, can re-up it for you if you want it.

^I'd definitely want to watch it with English hardsubs. Eh, the only cheesy flicks of hers I've liked are Kamikaze Girls and Yatterman. Some of Kyoko's cheesy flicks Yama Onna Kabe Onna and Fugoh Keiji really made me cringe, especially Fugoh Keiji. _________________
