Sox offense continues to roll in blasting the Jays in Toronto today...16-4! Lackey got the win, sub par effort again, seems when he pitches the offense knows they need to score runs, Ortiz continues his hot streak with another HR , one more game against the Jays tomorrow, Sox latest streak is now at 8 games.
Forgot the Jays got destroyed, too busy on McCOY's stellar pitching performance!

Actually they did even worse in a way today, Jays lost by 12 to the Sox on Saturday, today they lost by 13(!) as the bats of the Sox are unstoppable again in pummeling the Jay 14-1. Strong effort by Lester going 8 innings, Ortiz just keeps hitting them out, think he hit 5 HRs on the week and AG went deep too, now has at least one RBI in 9 straight games. _________________

Sox end their losing streak in winning at the Rays 3-0 on a Youk 3 run homer. Story of the game was Beckett who pitched a gem only ONE hit and ZERO walks in going all the way for the shutout in dropping his ERA back below 2, also threw only 97 pitches(!). _________________

He pitched great when few people were watching.
They'll just never draw there despite still having still having a solid team despite losing some good players, maybe Montreal needs to get a team back.
Sox took the rubber game against the Rays tonight in topping them 4-2. Buchholz gets the victory though only going 5 innings, 'pen came thru though and AG just continues to smoke the ball with another HR tonight. _________________

Back here in Boston, most people were watching the Bs game. So few realized he had pitched a gem.

Can't blame them can you? All the suspense of a game 7, when the Sox play the only suspense is how many runs they'll win by.
Tonight the margin was 6 runs as they pummeled the Brew Crew 10-4. When they score in double digits have to figure that Lackey pitched and yes, he did. Allowed 4 runs in the first 3 innings but settled down and pitched 5 more innings all scoreless, another day at the office for AG, 3-4 with a HR. _________________

Sox got back to their hitting ways yesterday after scoring only 2 on Saturday by blasting the Brew Crew 12-4. Solid outing by Wakefield going 8 innings, gonna need him to keep doing that for a while as Buchholz gets put on the DL, also Crawford got put on the DL just after he was turning things around. _________________

Sox are getting boring, another 14 runs last night as they crush the Padres 14-5. Adrian continues his torrid streak going 3-5 with 3 more RBIs against his former team, so far the leading candidate for the AL MVP. _________________
