kawai-so. For a guy who doesn't like music too much, the history of The Man's CD ownership mirrors the progression of Iron Man's armor. Yep, my first model -- it was a gift, I'm pretty sure it was one of the first mainstream Sony models from Japan -- I still have fond memories of that California Pizza Kitchen small takeout box-sized CD player, of not being able to move walk around while being able to listen to the dang thing (i.e., had to listen to it while sitting at the dining room table, or at my desk at home, or if I was lying down on the bed, the player had to be on a hard surface; my FAVORITE, though, was when I'd bring it while driving -- as most of ya'll know, the portable CD player didn't exactly coincide with the automotive model -- and, whenever I drove on a pebble, yep, the CD would stop). CD players now are much more user friendly, but aren't the biggest music-based technology out there nowadays, I don't need to tell you guys.
