lovely drama although i do have to admit i got pretty bored in the middle portion n find it a tad too draggy.....
the casts put in great performances n u'll really feel for them as if u noe them in person (at least i did)...

veri gd and entertaining drama.... had to mentioned that it was veri inspiring as well...... i can see the love of Kimura's character for flying n hw hard he work to get tt dream back.....
the romance between the two leads were great n i had a gd laugh whenever they were together....such a cute couple.....

My all time favourite if i have to choose just one Jap drama (Mukodono come close).... this is the first jap drama that make me teared.... especially the last few episodes.....

A classic Tokyo love story.... nothing very unique in storyline compared to all the other jap love dramas i watched but it's unfair to compare it to dramas tt were made yrs after this classic...

great drama, although i have to minus one mark for the ending (a bit ridiculous).... watched both "mukodono"s and i really cant decide which one is better (although alot of ppl loved the original better)... i think mukodono 2003 showed a different part of sakuraba yuichiro... 2003 focus more on his longing for his mother, which i can relate to (the first mukodono, i cannot relate to him being devastated due to someone tt is not even close to him).... nagase tomoyo is great as yuichiro sakuraba, super convincing (as both the nerd and the star)and the bigger budget for this 2003 version make him look more like a superstar (the bigger amount of fans and security guards).... noriko sakai is so gd in her role (which is pretty different from takeuchi yuko's role in the first) tt i want to marry her n bring her home!!!haha... loved the song "Omae yanai to akan nen", such a romantic song!!!
this is one drama tt made me cried during nearly every episodes....

Another of my all time favourite (ranked way up there wif GTO)... this is one drama tt cannot be missed.... i was crying during nearly every episodes (as was the case wif mukodono 2003) and this show is funni like hell too... loved the role of yuichiro sakuraba (nagase tomoyo is way too likable in this role)... takuechi yuko is also veri likable and sweet as his wife..... i personally loved shinohara ryoko (too bad she's not tt popular in japan), so seeing her in this show was a big bonus.... lastly, the song "Hitoribotchi no Haburashi" is juz too nice!!! | Mystery Minzoku Gakusha Yakumo Itsuki [ミステリー民俗学者八雲樹]

didnt care much for Momoko (Seto Asaka) when the series started but began to fall in love with her as Shunpei (Dohmoto Koichi) fall in love with her....
the ending was pretty good in my opinion as it's realistic..... no one know what will happen in the future, thus we can only anticipate :)

disappointing romance between the two leads (n to think i really like kimura n yuko), especially since the starting seem to promise so much..... though i like the ending....
the other characters were quite interesting but they were not engaging enuff.....
i think they can make the hockey scenes longer, as i thought those scenes were really exciting n uplifting.....

A pretty interesting drama although it could have scored higher if it was a bit darker. The first 7 episodes r too light hearted although they were all murder cases, only from the "hungry man" episode onwards, do the episodes get a gd balance of seriousness, excitment n fun. Maybe it is because i have the comics, that's y i'm pretty bored at almost all the cases as i knew the processes n endings to them. I do not understand y they changed some of the cases but the "hungry man" n the last 2 episodes were pretty entertaining although they were different from the comics.
The cast have to be given credit for bringing alive the characters. dohmoto koichi n kyoko fukada r really like the characters in the comics n the guy who acted as bob is even more entertaining than the bob in the comics! Only the caretaker looked too stiff n weird for her role. So ppl, stop blaming kyoko for being whiny, tt's how kurumi is like in the comics, innocent n whiny. | Rookie!
