Aishiteiru to Ittekure [愛していると言ってくれ]
Rating: 6/10 (Watched)
Quite similar to Beautiful Life. The tale of a normal girl with a disabled guy. Worth watching cause it has Takako Tokiwa in it.
Beautiful life [ビューティフルライフ]
Rating: 6/10 (Watched)
First dorama I ever watched. Beautiful couple. Serious drama. Not really my kind of drama. Got attracted to Takiko Tokiwa.
Hero
Rating: 7/10 (Bought)
A series of episodes depicting attorneys at work. Lots of clever mystery cases. Too little romance between Takuya Kimura and Matsu Takako. Takako seems even prettier than in Love Generation. Too bad they didnt exploit the great chemistry that the pair has. Otherwise it would have been perfect.
Hyakunen no monogatari [百年の物語]
Rating: 5/10 (Watched)
Though I love Nanako, this drama doesnt have much appeal other than her. Nana chan plays 3 girls of different generation of a family. Quite disappointing to me. Simply too much of her in a story made to appeal to the women. Kumene, Nana chan, I only say what I felt.
Imagine [イマジン]
Rating: 6/10 (Watched)
The first time I saw Kyoko Fukada. Pretty and talented. Dorama about mother-daughter relationship. Plus the usual romance between boys and girls. Nothing much stands out in the story..
Jinsei wa joujoda [人生は上々だ]
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
The earlier episodes were quite hilarious. A story of two people who become good friends for unlikely reasons. Later episode became serious but still worth a watch.
Kamisama mou sukoshi dake [神様、もう少しだけ]
Rating: 7/10 (Bought)
Superb, moving performance by Kyoko Fukada. Hail the teen queen of tears. Too bad Takeshi Kaneshiro doesnt match Kyokos performance. The director had to hide Kaneshiros eyes behind dark shades for his apparent inability to show much emotion in this tearjerker. Will make you cry (even for guys). A good watch.
Konna koi no hanashi [こんな恋のはなし]
Rating: 6/10 (Watched)
First impression was Pretty Woman with even prettier woman than Julia Roberts. Nanako just looks too good to be a poor girl. With that look she should be a stewardess (which she does in Yamato Nadeshiko). Watchable though quite boring in some episodes.
Koori no sekai [冰の世界]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
I LOVEEEEEEEEEEE NANAKO! Honestly, she is the reason I watched Jdorama. This crime/thriller drama was quite good especially in the earlier episodes. Ive known it all along,Nanako is no killer (though she has killer looks). The drama has some X-Files styles in some scenes. Gambate Nanako!
Long vacation [ロングバケーション]
Rating: 10/10 (Bought & Watched)
Charming. Good chemistry between the leads. Lots of romance. Plenty of light, unforggettable moments. Great soundtracks (listen to Here We Are Again by Cagnet). Good acting especially by Tomoko Yamaguchi. Must watch.
Love complex [ラブコンプレックス]
Rating: 2/10 (Bought)
Heavy drama + Exorcist + horror + X-Files + Ally MacBeal + bad comedy + crime/thriller drama good storytelling + lousy editing X bad script² = Love Complex = bad incomprehensible drama. The complex formulae of Love Complex made easy.
Love generation [ラブジェネレーション]
Rating: 10/10 (Bought)
Even better than Long Vacation. Combination of Takuya Kimura and Matsu Takako really sizzles. They make a great couple. Contains the usual plot in any love story but very good presentation by all involved makes this a classic dorama. The romance is guaranteed to appeal. Simply the best dorama ever.
Majo no jouken [魔女の条件]
Rating: 6/10 (Watched)
Narita Rikon [成田離婚]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
Hilarious till the last episode. Story of a mismatched couple who quarrels a lot after getting married. I really like this kind of drama.
Over Time [オーバー・タイム]
Rating: 8/10 (Bought & Watched)
A highly watchable romance drama quite like Long Vacation but fell a bit short on the ending (a big problem for those whod like a happy ending). Great theme song by The Brilliant Green. Make a Malaysian like me take notice of Jpop. Why do they make Makiko Esumi look like that? She is a beauty. Even Fuyumi is no match for her.
Yamato Nadeshiko [やまとなでしこ【大和撫子】]
Rating: 10/10 (Bought & Watched)
Very enjoyable romantic comedy. Features a handful of beauties. Watch out for Akiko Yada, she outshines Nanako Matsushima. Damnnnnnn goooooooooood performance by Nanako too. An eye candy for guys. Guys you must not miss this. If youre rich, beware. Your beautiful girl is there cause theyre just like Sakurako in this dorama:-)

Love complex [ラブコンプレックス]
DEFINITE NO NO [Rating: 2/10]
Poor storytelling by the director, scriptwriter and the editor makes this the worst dorama I've seen. If you haven't seen this drama than I assure you folks, it doesn't worth your time and money. What the heck is this drama about anyway? A horror, a suspense / thriller or was it a science-fiction? Personally, I think its a comedy and a very bad one too. Right from the first episode one can hardly figure out what the story was all about. They told you that these 2 clowns from some shadowy dept were transferred into the secretarial department to investigate about some missing money in this company. The way they told this story with the flashback and present (events) all jumbled up together makes your head spinning like crazy just to comprehend whats taking place. Sorimachi plays a character that sometimes hallucinates just like Ally Macbeal and the director wants us to believe that this was caused by his abusive mother. Karasawa plays Sorimachi's boss cum partner in the investigation. Both were supposed to find out the criminal. Karasawa then somehow become this strange, illogical character that can brainwash, manipulate people as he wishes. He can be a ghostbuster, driving the demon out of Ryo's body. He can also be Santa that can enter the mind of anybody he pleases to make them do horrible things. He can wrecked companies in a matter of months (thats what Ryo character told us). He is well connected. He knows senators and people with powers. More powerful than the chairman himself. In some scenes he even admits to being a god. Which makes us ask, what the heck does this guy wants in the company anyway? They was never told us. All the ending tells us was that his deeds was due to akuma or other type of devil possessing his soul. When Karasawa dies the demon have no other choice but to enter Sorimachi's body. Actually this demon was never shown, I only assume so because I don't know any other reason why Sorimachi had to jump to his death after killing Karasawa (Think the film Exorcist and Fallen). Just like everything else in this drama its hard to logically explains anything. Still, I can't explain why Santa Claus looks like the Joker out of Batman. Notice the way Santa puts on his lipstick and dances around happily like a devil inside everybodies mind. Such stupid scenes went repeatedly for about half an hour. (Don't forget that damn song and 'melly chlistmas!'). They should have used the Grinch. One more thing. I think this dorama should be titled as Hate Complex. There was plenty of scenes showing the hatred the characters have for each other. Love Complex gave me the impression that Sorimachi and Karasawa were involved in complex love relationship when trying to solve the case. Overall, I hate this dorama. I gave this dorama 2 out of 10 stars cause Sorimachi is one of my favourite actor.
