2001 no otoko un [２００１年のおとこ運] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) Wow! This was quite an interesting drama, a story between the relationship of friends. The main girl was very cute, her actions and speech was very funny. She acted very naturally. This was quite an interesting drama, although I never got to see the ending T_T (tears streaming down) I wonder who ended up with who.. ack, so curious! When a viewer is curious, it must mean the drama is very good! Therefore, a high rating for this drama!
Dekichatta Kekkon [できちゃった結婚] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) A very very good drama. Yutaka was awesome! And Ryoko was super cute! The storyline was fair, wasn't too bad. There is a bit of a comical atmosphere in this drama which makes it more interesting. There should have been a good kissing scene in this drama though! That would have been AWESOME. It's a drama that is definately worth watching!
Hatachi no kekkon [２０歳の結婚] Rating: 7/10 (Watched) This actually was an "ok" drama. It was a very NOISY drama, a lot of "baka" calling and a lot of arguing, which gets a little tiring after a while. The story was a tad slow.. so it took a while for me to finish, but um, it was one of the first so I can't really give it a bad rating, but overall, it's not a "great" drama, but it's one that people can watch if they have nothing to do or they simply like ARGUMENTS and SHOUTING and NAME-CALLING.
Koishite Shinitai [恋して死にたい] Rating: 7/10 (Bought & Watched) Fairly good drama! Kyoto was very very cute ^_^ Tsuyoshi was much more better looking in this drama than in Summer Snow where I first saw him act. The storyline is alright... I didn't approve of some of the plot, or rather, didn't like. I didn't like that fact that Yuji couldn't make up his mind between two woman. It is obvious he needed to choose TOHKO! (sorry.. spoilers) Anyhow, I think Tsuyoshi worked out before acting this drama, he's sorta short for a boxer though.. alwellz. Overall, a fairly well acted and performed drama, one that deserves a fair rating.
Majo no jouken [魔女の条件] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) One of the very best dramas about the relationship of a student and teacher. I've always been especially interested in "abnormal" relationships such as "student-teacher", "brother-sister" sorta thing. It's interesting to see something that doesn't happen very very often (In my opinion). Takizawa Hideaki looked very good in this drama, and a well performed role from Matsushima Nanko. I've only watched part of this one because I didn't catch all the episodes on TV, but still, very good drama!
Summer snow Rating: 10/10 (Watched) Summer Snow is by far the best Japanese drama I've ever watched. I was so overwhelmed by Ryoko's character. Her looks and her acting were amazing (in my opinion). The storyline is smoothly weaved and an unexpected ending surprised me. Tsuyoshi was great in this drama, his funny character with his silly actions are greatly looked upon. I must have cried for God knows how many times.. a very VERY touching story, one that all should watch. Overall, I give a full 10 rating for Summer Snow.
Taiyou wa shizumanai Rating: 7/10 (Watched) As always, the good-looking Takizawa Hideaki is what made me focus on watching. The storyline was fairly interesting, it was my first "mystery" "suspense" drama, so wasn't very used to it. I thought Kirino Setsu (the lawyer) was well picked for the part. I greatly admired her character. The storyline was well developed and fairly original. An intersting drama about a son trying hard to find out how his mother died. A fairly touching story, but not touching enough for tears to run down the cheek. Overall, a drama that deserves a fair rating.
With love Rating: 5/10 (Watched) I was looking forward to seeing this but I was quite disappointed. I ended up only watching a few episodes as the main characters were not as attractive as I thought they would be. The fact that the Takashi was a composer did spark some sort of an interest because I am a composer myself. Overall, not the kind of drama I was looking forward to seeing, but it still deserves a fair rating.
