The end was surprisingly sad. Watch this drama for what it is worth and not for all the dark scenes that are shown. |

If you can't watch this because of all the evil, you should wait it out till the end where it becomes a bit brighter. You even start questioning things about society and its flaws. At first I thought this drama was gonna be lame, but it was actually pretty good. It was kind of funny to see a guy trying to do something that others would see as crazy. I was anticipating each episode to see what was going to happen next. This might not be for everyone. Eventhough the drama might seem to set a serious tone, there are some funny scenes spread out though the whole series. The intro and outro would probably put some people off since I did not really like those either. The story involves a guy who is trying to get into the same college as his girlfriend but he does not have much money to live in Tokyo. He finds a share house with 5 beautiful ladies that takes him in to help protect it. Now he has to help around the place since he is paying cheap rent. Since this drama is based on a manga, it gets pretty silly. Random nudity and such. What do you expect since it is a "midnight drama." I did not like how the character Yuta was portrayed. They made it seem like he was a sniveling buffoon most of the time. Could have been executed better. The ending wasn't that great. |

There have been many dramas like this involving diseases like Beautiful Life and Summer Snow just to name some more, but it doesn't make it necessarily bad. It involves a girl trying to live life to its fullest without any regrets since her time is limited. She dreams of becoming a singer and hopes to able to make it to the top. This drama was made during the korean drama boom in Japan. You can sort of tell by watching. I myself havent seen many kdramas, but somehow I feel that it was suppose to feel like a kdrama. It was a pretty good concept. A love that is passed on to another generation, a destiny of love like part of the title suggests.
