Kubozuka Yosuke [窪塚洋介] Thought he was overly-dramatic in SOS, but that's not to say I didn't like his character. He was also cool in GTO!
Matsushima Nanako [松嶋菜々子] She was hot as Fuyutsuki in GTO! Sorimachi Takashi is one lucky dude to be married to her.
Takenouchi Yutaka [竹野内豊] He looked super-cool in Long Vacation. As soon as I'm done downloading Heaven's Coins, I'll check that dorama out. I wish I could grow a mug like he can.
Uchiyama Rina [内山理名] I didn't notice her in SOS cuz I was too busy noticing Kyoko Fukada. Just wanted to let you know I learned my mistake. She's a cutie-patootie. Hot!
Ueto Aya [上戸彩] She was really cute and sexy in My Little Chef. Heard a couple of her songs and she has a cool voice. She's not some cute j-idol who can't sing. She can act, sing, and look good! Nice!
Yada Akiko [矢田亜希子] Had the pleasure of watching her in My Little Chef. She's really pretty. She can cook for me any day! Looking forward to watching her in Hotman.
Yamauchi Nana [山内菜々] Nanami! She's so kawaii! Super-adorable in Hotman! Acted very well for someone so young!
Hotman [ホットマン] Rating: 10/10 (Watched) Gave it a nine at first, but after I finished watching this series, I changed my tune. This drama had everything- cool songs, a great cast, hot chicks, a super-adorable five-yr old, not to mention family crises, laughter, tears, some romance, comedy, and stuff about life, being a parent, being a kid, and being part of a family. Loved this series. Gotta wait til someone subtitles the Hotman Special! Yeah!!!
Long vacation [ロングバケーション] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) This dorama was widely proclaimed as one of the best doramas of all time (along with GTO) but when I was first watched it, I was like HUH? Maybe it was a victim of hype. Don't get me wrong, I liked it alot. This love story about two people at a crossroads in their lives was very relaxed and easy-going; no big roller-coasters or huge, complicated triangles here. Watching it was like taking a LONG VACATION. I will agree with the majority of fans who love the music. The soundtrack & theme song were awesome.
Love generation [ラブジェネレーション] Rating: 7/10 (Watched) I'm only at episode 3 so my rating can change, but if it doesn't pick up soon I'm gonna have to drop it even lower. THIS is one of the best doramas of all time?!? The lead chick is annoying me and right now I'm not connecting with the characters. I'll give this dorama a chance but something better happen soon. Just my opinion. Theme song is good, though.
My Little Chef Rating: 9/10 (Watched) I initially watched it for the eye-candy (Yada Akiko & Ueto Aya) but was pleasantly surprised by the warmth of the storyline. Presented the world of French cuisine in a cheesy (a la Iron Chef) but fun way. 10 episodes was not enough if you ask me. I learned to appreciate the art of cooking from watching this show. I hope I find a Petite Etoile in my neighborhood someday.
Summer snow Rating: 10/10 (Watched) First dorama that brought a tear to my eye. Heartwarming story about a woman suffering from a heart ailment & a bike-shop owner taking care of his younger brother and sister. The ending was so sad but I had to watch it several times because it was THAT good. Good soundtrack; never thought I'd hear Zamfir in a j-dorama.
To heart ~ koishite shinitai [to Heart 恋して死にたい] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) Holds a special place in my heart as the first dorama I saw completely (and loved). Call her annoying, unable to act, whatever... Kyoko Fukada was the reason I stayed with this dorama. That and the good, simple girl-chases-guy story which was a nice change from the norm. OK, so she was stalking him... but she loved him unconditionally... and no bunnies were cooked (see Fatal Atraction). Good show. Will have you singing Des'ree's song "Life" and screaming "Tokieda Yuji!" in no time.
