Ichi Ritoru no Namida [１リットルの涙] Soo sad.. You really can't be human if you're not even slightly touched after watching this. Moving, unforgetable, beautiful.. it's.. WOW.
Last Christmas [ラストクリスマス] At first glance I thought it looks boring.. but once I watched the whole series.. it instantly became one of my favorites. The jokes, the casts, the music, the story.. I thought it was all PERFECT. It's something you can watch Over and Over again. Not just during the holiday season, but anytime.
Nobuta wo Produce [野ブタ。をプロデュース] Could be boring at times but it has really become one of my favorites. The characters are really.. COOL.
Orange Days [オレンジデイズ] The first episode didn't get me hooked.. but after watching a couple of episodes.. it got better and better until it became unforgettable. A story about a deaf girl and a college guy, didn't think it could be so funny and enjoyable. It's really a feel good dorama.

Matsushima Nanako [松嶋菜々子] C'mon she's the QUEEN of JDORAMA... well I kind of disagree with that, but she was REALLY good in MAJO, GTO, and YAMATO. And did I mention she's cute and elegant.. and to add to that.. she has an awesome smile.
Nakama Yukie [仲間由紀恵] Can't believe she was the girl in Shinobi. Her character in Shinobi is hella different from Gokusen. Did a good job in both.. Gets my vote for being cute and funny.
Shibasaki Kou [柴咲コウ] Great actress.. really liked her in Orange Days. I will say that she's not stunningly beautiful, but more of girl-next-door type of look. She's a really good actress though.
Takeuchi Yuko [竹内結子] After watching her in Pride and Be With You, I just HAD to vote for her.
Aside from having an angelic face, she's also such a great actress.
She's perfect. Too bad she's married(not anymore!! YAY!).
Attention Please [アテンションン プリース] Rating: 6/10 (Watched) Couldn't finish..
I watched up to episode 6.
It was really funny.. but the story progress really slow.

Densha Otoko [電車男] Rating: 7/10 Didnt like it at first.. but it got better.
Gokusen [ごくせん] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) Yankumi-sensei.. YOSH!
Fun show.
GTO [麻辣教師] Rating: 7/10 I expected something less serious.
Hana Yori Dango [花より男子] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) Even with its cliche, it's a very entertaining drama. The production is WOW(wonder how much it cost). Inoue Mao was really good and cute. And doesn't bore you.. much.
Long vacation [ロングバケーション] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) Even though I found the first 2 episodes slow, the pace picked up after that. Now I understand the fuss about this series. But I didn't think it was that great,
Majo no jouken [魔女の条件] Rating: 6/10 (Watched) The concept was really interesting.. but I didn't like the way it was executed. I watched it for the plot, actors, and the theme song, but I was disappointed. It had its intense moments.. but it wasn't intense enough. There were parts that could have hit you, but missed. It was pretty boring and the ending was weak.
Mukodono! [ムコ殿/女婿大人] Rating: 7/10 (Watched) There are moments where it'll make you "roll on the floor laughing", but the beginning of each episodes are the only interesting parts. Then it just drags on until the last 5 minutes of the episode - the resolution.
Okay, maybe I exaggerated a little. Really.. it's not that bad.
Nagase Tomoya did a great job on it. It's funny how he goes from "baka" to serious before going out in public. His interaction with Takeuchi Yuko is something to look forward too, expecially when they're talking on the phone. The whole family did a great job portraying their charaters. Overall, the story is fun and touching but gets boring at times.

The three characters were well written and the actors did a good job playing them. Thumbs UP!
But I was kinda hoping they made an alternate ending for this. It's all good..
Sekai no chuushin de, ai wo sakebu [世界の中心で、愛をさけぶ] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) Great cinematography, great theme song, great acting.. overall it's great. Quite touching.. if you're looking for something sad.. this is a must watch.
Summer snow Rating: 7/10 Nice subtle pace. Pretty good cast. But in the end, it's just OKAY/AVERAGE.
A lot of drama themes in one drama. Not a bad thing.. but it feels like.. I've seen it before. Kinda predictable.
Yamato Nadeshiko [やまとなでしこ【大和撫子】] Rating: 6/10 (Watched) As much as I love Nanako.. this show was really slow in the beggining. I would give it a ONE but atleast it got a little better at the latter part, plus the actors did a great job.

Ichi Ritoru no Namida [１リットルの涙] Too sad.. [Rating: 10/10] At first, I thought this drama would just be another sad drama like Sekai No Chuushin(and it was). So, I've always brushed it off to the side and never got the chance to watch it until recently. Heard a lot of good things about it.
After watching it, I WASN'T disappointed. In fact, I think it's the SADDEST drama I've ever seen. This is one of those "life altering" kind of dramas. If you really get into it, you might actually cry a liter of tears. Fiction or non-fiction I think it'll still be as great, but the fact that it is NON-FICTION(partly fiction) makes it even sadder. Aya's words were just strong and meaningful. First episode, I thought.. eh okay. Wasn't that impressed. I thought it was gonna be boring. But, it got better and better as I watched. I got really into it after episode 6. Next thing I know I had tears on the side of my eyes. I think the addition of adding a love interest for Aya here just adds more tear-jerker factor. The interaction between them was nice, not too mushy/cheesy but it doesn't lack. The pace is nice. It doesn't bore you. There's always something interesting in every episode so don't skip.
The cast was great. Sawajiri Erika did a really great job on this. You'd just wanna cry with her everytime she cries. Her family and her love interest, was good too.
The music is very catchy. You'll like it, fits the mood of the drama perfectly. Especially liked Konayuki by Remiomoren which is played everytime Aya and Haruto are together.
Overall, it's a MUST WATCH buy it, rent it, or download it! Don't miss out! Even if you're not into melodramas.. 9.8/10
