This drama had its good moments but overall it was rather boring. The plot was difficult to begin with and I think that they didn't manage to carry it well on screen. Also some of the leading characters were annoyingly one-dimensional. Hana Yori Dango can entertain, but only a little. |

Probably the best tv show that I have ever seen so far. I got hooked to the series straight from the first episode. Very professionally and smoothly made, from the script to the work of the actors and actresses. Also the thought-provoking side of Ichi Rittoru no Namida is carried very well along the series. The acting, camerawork, setups and everything are done in the style "Hey by the way, could we come to shoot some videos in the school after classes?" and of course with a total budget of a 1000 yen or so. I enjoyed this drama, although I agree that this idea did seem a bit recycled. Also, I think that the script kinda hobbled in some scenes and some characters were clearly not thought far enough. |
