Anego [アネゴ]
funny and love Shinohara's role. Understand fully her feelings at age 30+.. She's such a reliable Anego... would love to see the two leads develop further... Love to see those "thinking captions"; funny at times. And Jin really is different here, so innocent and boyish, plus he cried.. heartbreaking! Just wishing there would sequel to this drama..
Boku dake no Madonna [僕だけのマドンナ]
touching and both leads are good looking. Had many misses but there were hits too between the relationships of the two leads.. their character roles matched in the show..
Haken no Hinkaku [ハケンの品格]
Just finished watching the show.. it was FANTASTIC!! can really relate a lot to the show.. its understandable that the ratings were high. Love it. There's mixture of comedy, little romance, office politics, touching moments and so many others that you can learn from her. She's amazing. Too bad that she only wanted to work for 3 months in each company. But sure glad that there's a sequel.. Looking forward to it very much.. and I hope that the original casts could return especially if there could be a love triangle :) A great show!
Mother and Lover [マザー&ラヴァー]
funny and entertaining
Oishii puropozu [おいしいプロポーズ]
nice drama. like Hasegawa and Koide Keisuke in this show. Like Keisuke's image here, clean cut and decisive at the end :)
Orange Days [オレンジデイズ]
Fantastic acting by the leads.. touching and sincere
Satomi Hakenden [里見八犬伝]
first time watching a period drama.. good show with all the fantasy, magical stuff. interesting one.
Sekai no chuushin de, ai wo sakebu [世界の中心で、愛をさけぶ]

Akanishi Jin [赤西仁]
Like Kattun.. Cool singer, good dance moves.. acting can be improved and increased
Ayase Haruka [綾瀬はるか]
pretty actress. acted very well in Crying out love in the centre of the world. was touched.
Hasegawa Kyoko [長谷川京子]
cute and lovely.
Hayami Mokomichi [速水もこみち]
must say that in Gokusen, he is the most charming student and tallest.. love his caring, brotherly part when he protected the girl.. cool and suave..
Kato Kazuki [加藤和樹]
Just to add that he looks like Nakamura Shunsuke.
Shibasaki Kou [柴咲コウ]
versatile actress and pleasant looking. Like her very much in Orange Days. great acting!
Shinohara Ryoko [篠原涼子]

Gokusen Season 2 [ごくせん2]
Gokusen 2 is actually better [Rating: 9/10]
I watched Gokusen 1 and before watching Gokusen 2, I was skeptical about how good Gokusen 2 will be especially when I read here that the first version is better. However, I beg to differ. Gokusen 2 is better! Firstly, there is not much fighting scenes (i.e. fewer scenes of Yamaguchi appearing to save her students in fights, which the first version has that in almost every episodes) which sometimes can bore me *reminds me of Clark Kent stripping his clothes to reveal Superman with that "here comes Superman" type of song always playing at that instant). In Gokusen 2, I felt it shows that besides fighting, there are other means to resolve/put the point across (communication is the key point). I actually worry that there will be more rescuing fighting scenes in Gokusen 2 but phew, more words of wisdom is used instead.... Secondly, Goukusen 2 students are more obedient and understand faster/better whatever Yamaguchi teaches them. I feel that Yamaguchi is a facilitator, facilitating the students to think and decide for themselves..... and, the bond between the students & teachers develop faster...... The leader that everyone says cannot be compared to Sawada, well, I prefer Hayato, as he is more approachable, open, cranky and not just cool, serious and silent (hey this is more like a charismatic leader)...... Lastly, this show though it may not be as funny, it touches my heart. I would recommend people not to miss this show.
Kimi no tame ni dekiru koto [君のためにできること]
left a deep impression on me [Rating: 9/10]
this is a very old show.... think i watched it around 10 years ago already but somehow, the story left a deep impression. It was really sad that the boyfriend died and what's worse was he possessed the guy who knocked him down (sorry, but i cant recall why he was given the chance to possess?). anyway, there's this nurse (i think) who's guiding him and cautioning him not to reveal who he was to the girl. So, its really heartwrenching to see him trying to befriend his girlfriend who hated "him". In the end, the girl realises the late boyfriend was in the body of the "killer" but sadly, they had to part in the end... ouch! so touching as the guy left / disappeared with the girlfriend staring at him in the sky. Very beautiful show.
