Bara no nai Hanaya [
Interesting story and excellent casting.
Hotaru no Hikari [
Ichi Ritoru no Namida [1
Kiken na Aneki [
I absolutely love this series! Its fun and lighthearted but at the same time, offers some touching moments. All the cast and characters were very likeable... even the stubborn and somewhat selfish Yutaro has his very nice moments nearer the end. Definitely recommended!
Last Friends [
Although the last few episodes ended up a bit of an anti-climax to me... but overall, the story was quite interesting and different from the typical Japanese drama. Definitely worth watching.
Sapuri [
Voting for this show because it allowed Misaki to portray something more than her usual roles that don't say much. Fans of Misaki should definitely watch this. Even though I initially got hooked on watching Misaki's dramas through Densha Otoko, in retrospect, I would definitely prefer to watch her in Sapuri more than Densha because the character has more substance.
Sekai no chuushin de, ai wo sakebu [
Slow Dance [
The interaction between Tsumabuki and Fukatsu was extremely funny.
Zettai Kareshi [

Itoh Misaki [
Watched her in You're Under Arrest, Kiken na Aneki, Densha Otoko and about to watch her in Sapuri. She always portrays her role very well. Fans of Misaki, please vote for her... she's ranked 27??? Pure injustice! :)
Ogata Naoto [
Did a brilliant job in "Sekai"

Bara no nai Hanaya [

Densha Otoko [
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
Has some really funny moments but can be too draggy during his "internet consultation sessions" where they keep repeating the same things. Misaki's character was rather simple, but who can watch this series and not love "Hermes-san"?
First Kiss [
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
Galileo [
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
Gokusen 2 [
Rating: 6/10 (Watched)
Too repetitive and the fighting scenes were horrible. Yankumi was fun to watch... but that's about it.
Himitsu no Hanazono [
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
Hotaru no Hikari [
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
Fun light-hearted drama. Makes you think about how lucky it is to have someone who you can truly be yourself in front of.
Ichi Ritoru no Namida [1
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
Kiken na Aneki [
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
Very funny and enjoyable. Of course the plot was not realistic, but this is merely a comedy and if you watch it as such, you'll definitely enjoy the show.
Last Friends [
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
Compelling storyline that makes you want to find out what is going to happen as soon as possible. Didn't quite like the last two episode's anti-climax kind of pace but guess it was necessary to wrap things up. Also didn't like Masami's character. These two things were the only thing that stopped it from being a 10/10.
Mison Ikkoku [
Rating: 5/10 (Watched)
Misaki really shouldn't be taking roles like these any more. Her role seemed so boring and fake here that even as her fan I almost couldn't bear to watch. Never watched the anime so I can't really compare, but the abrupt ending seems kind of strange, even for a short one episode show. BTW, don't know about the Japanese word, but I think the first word of the title should be "maison"... as in "house" in french.
Nodame Cantabile [
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
Not bad, but overrated. Nodame was really cute though.
raiaa geemu [ライアーゲーム]
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
Sapuri [
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
The story started quite slow and the relationships and characters are not 100% convincing but it was still enjoyable nonetheless. I'm sure I'll give at least an 8 if I understood Japanese because the CM slogans didn't make as much sense or probably lost its impact when translated to English. A happily ever after ending... but like all fairy tales, it leave you wondering... "will it really work out as time goes on?"
Satomi Hakenden [
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
Was really bored for the first part... felt that things happened too slow and half the show seemed to be merely introducing characters who you know were kind of just making up the numbers. Nevertheless, the later parts picked up a little so saved it from being a complete waste of time. Ayase Haruka looked particularly out of place with the hairstyle and I was kind of disappointed to find out that Nakama Yukie only had a small role in the show.
Sekai no chuushin de, ai wo sakebu [

Slow Dance [

The interaction between Tsumabuki and Fukatsu was extremely funny.
Taiho shichauzo [
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
Liked the friendship between the two main characters. Disliked the action scenes and the disjointed story line. Mainly watched it because of Misaki but in the end found that Sachie Hara performed better in this series.
