Attention Please [アテンションン プリース]
Rating: 6/10
Meh, it was kinda funny but not funny enough to keep me eagerly watching. The characters were great and everything (especially Nishikido Ryo, he looked really good in this one) but the story was kinda boring, and not romancey enough for me. It's good if you're a fan of Aya Ueto though.
Densha Otoko [電車男]
Rating: 5/10 (Watched)
I didnt really like this drama. It was funny and everything, but I dunno, it just didnt capture me like some other dramas have. I couldnt even bring myself to finish it xD I do have to give the show credit tho for Itoh Atsushi's great acting and Shun Oguri's hotness ^.^
Gokusen [ごくせん]
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
Almost died laughing watching this series. It made me start to like MatsuJun because after seeing him as Tsukasa in HYD I didnt really like him, but in Gokusen hes absolutely amazing and one of my fave characters. Nakama Yukie is awesome too ^.^ The only problem I had with this drama was that the plot was a bit repetitive...Still had some great laughs tho.
Gokusen Season 2 [ごくせん2]
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
I'm kinda sad to say that this drama was a bit disappointing. I was expecting a lot since it had Kamenashi Kazuya and Akanishi Jin in it and was the second season of one of my all-time favorite shows, but.......I found that it was a complete copy of the first season. Even the characters I noticed were exactly like their season 1 counterparts (eg Ucchi from the first season and Tsucchi in the second, both tall, rash guys always looking for a fight; and the one that bugged me a lot was Okuma, who was a carbon copy of Kuma from season 1 except WAY less funny). Also I didnt like how they only retained Kuma and her family from season 1. I was really hoping for a continuation of Yankumi and Sawada, but I guess it never was meant to be. Other than that the drama was pretty funny, though nowhere near as funny as the first one. I do have to say though that the students are a lot better looking this time around (with the exception of Okuma).
GTO [麻辣教師]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
Hilarious! I was a fan of almost all the characters, but Kikuchi Yoshito (Kubozuka Yosuke) really stood out in my opinion. My second drama, and the one that made me realize that there are other dramas out there besides HYD xD
Hana Yori Dango [花より男子]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
My first drama and definitely one of my favorites. Got me into the whole Jdorama scene, and introduced me to Oguri Shun! ^.^
Hana Yori Dango Season 2 [花より男子]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
The first season of HYD seemed unbelievably short to me, so I was ecstatic when I found out there was a second season. It definitely did not disappoint! Though I do feel bad for Rui though since he did not end up with Tsukushi (k thats not really a spoiler because everyone knew that Tsukushi and Tsukasa were gonna get together in the end!) xD
Hanazakari no Kimitachi e [花ざかりの君たちへ]
Rating: 10/10 (Watched)
AMAZING!!! It is absolutely hilarious, lots of bishonen, romance, everything I like about dramas. I fell in love with Mizushima Hiro after watching this <3 And the three leads, Horikita Maki, Ikuta Toma (^o^) and Oguri Shun were great too :D Hana Kimi is now up there in my list of fave dramas along with Nobuta wo Produce and 1 Litre of Tears ^^
Ichi Ritoru no Namida [1リットルの涙]
Rating: 10/10 (Watched)
I absolutely love this drama with all my heart. The actors and actresses did a great job in portraying their characters, especially Nishikido Ryo as Asou Haruto. Also the plot was a real tearjerker and always reeled me in to watch more. I think I cried a lot in this drama, which is an indication of just how good it was.
Kimi wa Petto [きみはペット]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
An amazing drama! Full of romance, humour, and a particular bishounen (xD); just my type of drama! The only reason why my rating of it isnt a 10 is because the ending was a bit unrealistic for me, and some of the characters (in my opinion) are not pleasing to the eye (argh I'm so shallow!). MatsuJun makes up for it tho. Hes so hot in this drama!
Kurosagi [クロサギ]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
The thing that initially attracted me to this drama was the fact that Yamapi and Maki were in it; I loved them to bits in Nobuta wo Produce and I was very excited to see them working together again. Maki didn't disappoint at all; though her character's lectures got a bit old and annoying after a while, I liked Tsurara and Maki portrayed her well in my opinion. Yamapi, though, it took a while to get used to. I was so used to him being silly and fun that seeing him as a cool swindler was very funny at first. The first few episodes I kept laughing because Yamapi looked so unnatural and out of character. I got used to it though and grew to love his character. I'm glad too because there were some Kusano Akira moments in there and they really invoked a feeling of nostalgia. I hope to see Yamapi and Maki work together on another drama and next time actually hook up! The storyline with all the swindlers and such was kinda hard to follow because there was all this business stuff I didnt really understand. So unfortunately I didn't really watch Kurosagi for the story, but rather to see Yamapi and Maki together. Lol xD The other characters were pretty likable, except for stupid Yukari-chan. I hated her guts right after I first saw her, and as the drama continued I hated her even more. The swindlers were very enjoyable to watch, especially Shiraishi and Hayase. The policemen were alright, but I thought that Kashima had an unnaturally high voice. All in all, I'm really glad I stuck through this drama. It started off a bit slow but got much better as it progressed. Here I realized what good actors Yamapi and Maki were (not that I didn't know it before this drama ^.^)! I really hope they make a second season!
Majo no jouken [魔女の条件]
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
I was expecting this drama to be really amazing and become one of my all-time favorites but really it was less than I expected. I was very intrigued by the plotline and it was great at first but it seemed as if it didn't really go anywhere. Something bad would happen then they'd bounce back and then another terrible thing would happen and the cycle would start all over again. Of course, with a plot like the one it has, sad moments are to be expected. The good points of the drama were the cast (I discovered Takizawa Hideaki! He's sooo amazing) and the soundtrack. The acting was good but honestly, the kiss scenes were painful; they were either a bit much or not enough! I mean cmon normally when people kiss they don't just rest their lips on the other's. But haha like I would know xD
Nobuta wo Produce [野ブタ。をプロデュース]
Rating: 10/10 (Watched)
One of my favorite dramas of all time!!!! At first I didnt think it was gonna be too good because the first episode wasnt really a grabber, but I'm glad I kept watching! Kame, Yamapi, and Maki are amazing together and the drama was just so funny and touching...really an awesome series, which I definitely recommend to anyone!
Nodame Cantabile [のだめ カンタビ−レ]
Rating: 10/10 (Watched)
A really awesome drama!! Kinda ashamed to admit it, but I was hesitant on watching it because Tamaki Hiroshi was a bit old in my opinion (even though he isnt!!!! Im just an insane psycho freak sometimes) but his character turned out to be one of my favorites. Ueno Juri was great too but Eita really stole the show in my opinion. He's such a cool guy and his hair was awesome!! All the characters contributed so much to the show and they all shined even though there were a ton of people in the cast. And of course, the soundtrack was absolutely amazing; why wouldn't it be when the show features such well-known classicals? I enjoyed the orchestra performances immensely and I like how the actors were playing the instruments themselves (or were they? Lol they looked like they were so ya xD). Now I really wish I hadnt given up on piano! Anyways Nodame Cantabile is an awesome drama that I won't be forgetting anytime soon...it has now joined Nobuta wo Produce, 1 Litre of Tears and Hana Kimi in my list of all-time fave dramas!
Orange Days [オレンジデイズ]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
I learned some Japanese sign language from this show. ^.^ It was awesome.
Summer snow
Rating: 6/10 (Watched)
I was expecting a lot from this drama because already at the first episode I was crying, but it kinda bored me actually. I really liked the stories of Jun and Chika and Hiroto but not so much Natsuo and Yuki, which is kinda sad since they are the main characters in the drama. xD Maybe I dont like it because I watched it with bad quality, but well...
