 Beautiful life [ビューティフルライフ]
Excellent~ [Rating: 9/10]
This has to be one of the best romance story I have watched ... this film is wonderfully directed and had lots of morals about life, the troubles and feelings that disabled people go through ... & the romance between Shuji and Kyoko will keep you definitely keep you glued to the screen! RECOMMENDED~!

The one thing I enjoyed about this Dorama was Yoon Son Ha, she is rather pretty & can act decent too :D, really looking forward to her next dorama "Seoul Love Story"?... I think she acts with that guy from "S.O.S" .. Kubozuka Yosuke?
Well, enough about that! I found the drama quite interesting, especially the relationship between Kyoko Fukada & Yoon Son Ha, but I didn't really like how it ended, the ending could have been better (ps* As usual Kyoko Fukada was good) |

Its ok at the begining, but the story is abit to unrealistic ... and after, the way he wins contestants start to be kinda similar to each other ... but its still a drama that is good to watch ... | Imagine [イマジン]
Not your usual drama [Rating: 8/10]
This drama is different to the ones you see mainly (not your usual love type one)... cause its more about the relationship between the daughter and the mother, which makes this drama more unique! Reccommended if you are tired of watching love stories |

A good detective series [Rating: 8/10]
I liked the way the main actress (Nakatani Miki) acts in this series and the way the whole series is directed, it leaves you with a dark feeling throughout. The only problem is that most of the cases are a bit to predictable for me, so they didn't really leave me guessing ... and I was looking forward for this show to leave me guessing till the end ... But I still think its worth watching~ ... I can't wait until the movie, comics and the "series 2" comes out!!

Koishite Shinitai [恋して死にたい]

This romantic TV series is more "Teenager" than the others that I have watched, but its still a good show in its own right ... Kyoko Fukada does play her character well, but needs to improve her acting skills abit :) ... apart from that, I have to say its Kyoko Fukada that makes this show excellent!! ... and shes rather pretty as well, hehe ... with her quote "Love Is Power" ... you will love this show too~! :D
also, Tsuyoshi Dohmoto (Yugi), as always, is excellent in this show ... I remember watching him in "Kindaichi Files" and he was kinda weeny back then ... but for this part he had to train up his muscles to play the boxer character ... the two main theme tunes really suit the show too ... the songs are "Life - Desree" & "To Heart - Tsuyoshi Dohmoto" ... the show is more teenager type stuff .. unlike "Beautiful Life" ... this show has some sad scenes, but won't make you cry ... overall a EXCELLENT show ... Really RECCOMENDED ...

I had quite high expectations for this film, because I heard that this TV series was one of the best in 1998. But to my dissapointment it wasn't as good as "Beautiful Life", "To Heart" or even "Keizoku" ... I'm not saying its that bad, just that it could have been better ... overall an average show ...

Watching this series, I thought that the series did relate to a lot of things in real life and is made even better by the actors/actresses in the show. I think this will make you bring out the tissues, cause the story is quite emotional. Overall a show worth watching.

I didn't really like Faye Wong in this Dorama, maybe because she didn't really speak Japanese alot ... and her english was quite bad too
I loved the relationship between Nakai kiichi + Nakama Yukie .. it was too bad that *********** happened :( ... wish they could change the ending
For some reason I didn't like this dorama, but for another strange reason ... it kept on making me carry on watching it *lol* ... so it must be good? |
