I bought this because this is a very popular drama among the forums. Maybe due to my high expectations, I found this to be a bit overrated. It's just a bit too corny and cheesy for my liking. This is my all time favourite. Yes, there are cliches and bad hair... but having read the manga, I could really appreciate the way the writers developed the plot - the way they strung together all the readers' favourite scenes to push the story along, whilst trying to avoid repetition of the first season. And I love the OTP - Makino and Domyoji. Their chemistry was unbelievable. |

This was my favourite of the season. Ayase Haruka is adorable as Hotaru, and her bantering with Buchou was very entertaining. This was a very enjoyable series, although I still can't comprehend what is sooo unacceptable about females wearing t-shirts and tracksuits at home. I don't really believe the Japs are that superficial in real life. |

For me, the tears started from the first episode. This was a real tearjerker, and the acting was great for the most part (although I felt the young male lead was a bit wooden).
