Friends [フレンズ] Quite good, and Kyoko Fukada really gets to flex her acting muscles here. I just wish there were a bit more chemistry between the 2 leads
Kou Kou Kyoushi 2003 [高校教師 2003] Despite the fact that Sonim was really the only likeable character, this drama is pretty good. The acting was really good, Aya Ueto seems to be shaping up as the new Ryoko Hirosue.
Orange Days [オレンジデイズ] BEST DRAMA EVER. Fantastic script, great characters, and a star making performance by Kou Shibasaki. WATCH THIS SHOW.
Stand UP!! This is a really funny drama with a great cast. Anne Suzuki is just TOO cute as Chie. Two thumbs up.
Summer snow I was a bit skeptical about this drama at first but it won me over in the end. Great performances, and while the ending IS very sad, the very last scene leaves off on a happy note.
Wedding Planner [ウエディングプランナー] Fantastic ensemble cast. Yuusuke Santamaria is too funny. And Kimura Yoshino looks amazing. *.*

Dohmoto Tsuyoshi [堂本剛] He was a revolation in Summer Snow, creating one of the most memorable drama characters ever. I definitely want to see more dramas with this talented guy.
Hirosue Ryoko [広末涼子] Cute as a button and one of the most natural actresses in Japan.
Matsu Takako [松たか子] Does she really need any more votes? :P I actually really disliked her until she won me over in Itsumo Futari de. Very versatile, talented and cute actress.
Oguri Shun [小栗旬] He's a great character actor. He can flawlessly go from the shy, hearing impared Jun in Summer Snow to the loud, sex starved Kou-kun in Stand Up!! This guy deserves all the success in the world.
Shibasaki Kou [柴咲コウ] She's acted really well in a variety of roles, and her star making performance in Orange Days is really something. Oh, and did I mention she's cute?
Sonim [ソニン] Very talented young star who stole scenes from Aya Ueto in Koukou Kyoushi. Speaking of which, why isn't KKK a part of her filmography??
Suzuki Anne [鈴木杏] Ms. Suzuki seems to be making a very successful transition from child star to adult actress. GREAT performance as Chie in Stand Up!!; it's like the role was written for her. I hope to see more from this very talented(and very cute!) young actress in the future.
Takenouchi Yutaka [竹野内豊] He's a great actor who can handle both comedic and serious roles quite well.
Ueto Aya [上戸彩] Aya's a very talented young actress who gave a heartbreaking performance in Koukou Kyoushi. I don't think she's that cute, but she has this "average girl" quality that's very endearing.

Long vacation [ロングバケーション] AWSOME [Rating: 9/10] This drama needs no introduction. Great cast, great story. Great music. A+++. Whenever I hear the theme song "La La Love Song", I always get a smile on my face. It loses one point for Matsu Takako, who I hated so much in this drama that I never want to watch anything with her in it again!
Tokyo Wankei [東京湾景] Overrated [Rating: 4/10] Since the plot dealt with Zainichi Nihonjin, I thought it would be really interesting and contreversial. Sadly, it's neither. It's just another cookie cutter romance drama, and it doesn't even succeed at that since the new leads have NO chemistry whatsoever. The only reason to sit through is Yukie Nakama, who's at the top of her game as usual.
