But the plot twists and it becomes an amazing story with Maki once again surrounded by ikemen -some of which even fall in love with her also.
The cast are familiar with one another and you can see the cordial nature and familiarity between them. This drama must NOT be overlooked. Very very good and highly recommended.
GTO [麻辣教師] VERY good drama. It was a change from most other Teacher helps students type drama, but this was in an extremely hilarious way. Loved it!
A definite worth seeing drama, especially for those who enjoy comedic relief over romance.

33pun Tantei [33分探偵] Rating: 10/10 (Watched) I LOVE 33pun Tantei, even after only having seen 3 episodes. I want to view more.
It's about a detective who takes longer to solve mysteries than what is needed, and the process through each episode may be similar, but it never gets tired.
Domoto Tsuyoshi acts in this, and like Remote, Kinki proves their acting abilities in such a variety of roles given.
Abarenbo Mama [暴れん坊ママ] Rating: 3/10 I have not yet finished watching this drama; the beginning is sadly far too slow -but hopefully in the future I will be able to.
Akihabara@DEEP [アキハバラ＠DEEP] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) I'm surprised that there isn't a write up for this shower. Ikuta Toma stars in this show about a group of Otaku (avid anime/manga fanatics) who solve crimes and mysteries within Akihabari, (a sanctuary for the Otaku).
It's a hilarious drama, though ridiculous and perverted, and there are a few annoying parts. VERY small details, but all around -the dorkiness and comedy overrides it all.
Anna-san no Omame [アンナさんのおまめ] Rating: 7/10 It's Becky! While this drama is actually more or less and parody or spoof, and makes fun of the characters in the story -it does get annoying and over-bearing after a while. Still, I think the drama wants you to feel this way and pushes for you to grow annoyed by the main character.
I have yet to finish this drama, but you really need to be in the mood to get through it. XD

Attention Please [アテンションン プリース] Rating: 3/10 In the beginning I thought the concept of this story was interesting, however eventually I began not so thrilled at the plot of 'change the character to fit the expectations of society'. So by the second episode I lost complete interest in the story.
I'll have to give it a chance at some point, but until then I'm a little weary.
Must watch this drama! Have not found subs after the second episode, however.
Delicious Gakuin [美味學院] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) A very hilarious drama about boys who are kidnapped and forced to hone their skills in a cooking school. This drama is TOO RANDOM, which is HILARIOUS, and the cast is made of absolute WIN.
Nagayan, Kawai Ryounsuke, Nissy (from AAA), Aiba Hiroki, and Miura star in this as well. A must watch in my book, if you like humor
Dragon Zakura [ドラゴン桜] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) This was a much different perspective concerning Teacher with odd background helps struggling student dramas. The Instructor's cold (yet inner caring) attitude was surprising, compared to GTO and Gokusen. It was a more realistic aspect, and yet still enjoyable.
I loved Yamapi and Teppei in this drama. A definite must watch. Made me want to study harder. Yoshi!
Gokusen [ごくせん] Rating: 10/10 (Watched) I finally watched this completely with an open mind, and I must admit that the first Gokusen was far better than the first and second. The characters (featuring Matsumoto Jun and Oguri Shun) were so lovable beyond words.
I now like MatsuJun and can recommend this drama completely.
Gokusen Season 2 [ごくせん２] Rating: 10/10 (Watched) The teacher is still a Mary Sue, but Gokusen 2 delivers MUCH better than the first. The characters are lovable dork, and I actually grow to admire Yankumi in the end. I'm glad to have at least watched the second though I did not like the first. You don't miss much, since the story stands alone and thus far seems to be a copy of the first.
Akanishi Jin and Kamenashi Kazuya are just too....HOT. Teppei is also TOO CUTE! A good drama must have hot guys. We know this, and this one certainly does.
GTO [麻辣教師] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) A comedic story about a teacher with a criminal background who decides to teach to a class of delinquents. Though the plot is very familiar, I believe GTO delivers the side of student-teacher relationship much better than most others (For example Gokusen).
This is a must watch. ^_~ Especially if you like hot teachers who act like dorks.
Hana Yori Dango [花より男子] Rating: 5/10 (Watched) The first and the second caught my attention...for a little while. This story is about a poor girl who makes it into a high school for rich folk, and finds herself targeted by F4 (Flower 4) who practically run this school.
While this was interesting, after a while it becomes an over-dramatic romance story. In the end I found myself sick of the thorough drama, but not so much sick of the supporting characters, played by Oguri Shun, and Matsuda Shota.

Hanazakari no Kimitachi e [花ざかりの君たちへ] Rating: 10/10 (Watched) I GASM OVER THIS DRAMA. The cast.. Hiro..Oh dear gawd I love Hiro.....
Hana Kimi is about a girl who dresses as a boy to attend an all-boys high school, to get her idol to return to high jump. I was wishing there would be more of a love triangle, but I was satisfied enough with Oguri Shun (Sano) and Ikuta Toma (Nakatsu) having a mini battle of Horikita Miki (Mizuki). The ending was a little satisfying... I suppose... but all good things come to an end. *sigh*
Kurosagi [クロサギ] Rating: 5/10 Darn it! I watched this drama to see Yamapi and Horikita Maki. But it draws out so long and isn't very action-amazing as I expected a plot like this to be. Especially involving swindlers and Kurosagi, who swindles from swindlers.
Nobuta wo Produce [野ブタ。をプロデュース] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) This had to be one of my favorite roles done by Horikita Maki as Nobuta. This is a story about a popular boy and a...dork..who decide to help a girl that is constantly bullied become popular.
I loved this story and expected so much from it, however the ending was greatly disappointing. DX
Nodame Cantabile [のだめ カンタビ−レ] Rating: 10/10 (Watched) LOVE this drama. It brought me a different, more admirable perspective on Classical music. I absolutely love it. Have yet to watch the specials, but this is definitely worth the time.
Humorous, romance but not overly sappy. You easily connect with the characters as well. Ingenious.
Yuukan kurabu [有閑倶楽部] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) Funny, entertaining and truly likable. I love that all of them have crushes, but are unable to get with the ones they adore -rare in most dramas.
However with Yukan Club, romance is not the main focus, as it goes on about the boredom of 6 wealthy high schoolers and how they solve crime.
Not to mention Johnnys! Who doesn't like Johnnys? :D It was well worth my time.
Zettai Kareshi [絶対彼氏] Rating: 5/10 (Watched) Interesting plot and story, and Mizushima Hiro is, as always, so utterly gorgeous. But it was the ending that completely turned me off and ruined this drama for me. I liked it in the beginning, but later on, it was a complete let down.

Yuukan kurabu [有閑倶楽部] For people who don't take things seriously. [Rating: 9/10] Yukan Club was an absolutely enjoyable series, especially for someone who does not sit well with dramatic romance and cliche. I like being able to laugh at the dumbest, most illogical moments, and the characters both had their quirks and respectable qualities to them.
Though it was not realistic, it was captivating and did not have a single boring moment in it. There was romance, but there was nothing mushy and a turn off of the series.
It was about a group of wealthy teenagers who were bored and fought crime. How serious can you get?
Zettai Kareshi [絶対彼氏] Good..until you see the end. [Rating: 5/10] Mizushima Hiro is absolutely, as always, gorgeous in this drama. I enjoyed the plot, and the storyline -thinking it would be something unique and different, and well thought out.
However, the ending is what turned me off of this drama completely. I was absolutely ticked off and lost the majority of the respect I had for it.
Let down.
