Atashinchi no Danshi [アタシんちの男子]
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
Bambino! [バンビーノ!]
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
It was a light drama, with a definite focus on the cooking aspect and a lack of romance (which was not a bad thing for me).
Bloody Monday [ブラッディ・マンデイ]

Bloody Monday Season 2 [ブラッディ・マンデイ-シーズン2-]

Code Blue: Doctor Heli Kinkyu Kyumei [コード・ブルー]
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
I was expecting a lot more out of this drama, but it failed to deliver. I didn't like the lack of character development., and the overall plot was somewhat weak. And I get the fact that Yamashita's character was supposed to be cold-hearted, but I think it was just his acting that was borderline flat... Gave it a 7 instead of 6 for the great theme song by Mr. Children.
Dragon Zakura [ドラゴン桜]
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
It was alright. Not horrible, but not necessarily great. I appreciated the ending though.
Ghost Friends [ゴーストフレンズ]
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
Gokusen [ごくせん]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
Nakama Yukie portrayed Yankumi perfectly!! I loved this drama from beginning to end. I would suggest this drama for anyone who is looking to find a good high school drama. However, those who dislike dramas that follow a strict pattern should avoid this drama.
Gokusen Season 2 [ごくせん2]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
Gokusen is back!! The episode structure was exactly the same as it was in the first season, but I still like it.
Gokusen Season 3 [ごくせん 3]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
Gokusen is back again!! Although it didn't really offer anything different from the first two seasons, I still like this drama. I think you should only watch this if you are a fan of the series itself.
Hachimitsu to Kuroba [ハチミツとクローバー]
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
Hana Yori Dango [花より男子]
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
This drama was a typical drama that was clearly geared towards shoujo manga fans. However, I enjoyed it nonetheless, partly because of the great chemistry between the two lead characters.
Hana Yori Dango Season 2 [花より男子]
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
Hmm... I liked the first season better, but this wasn't a bad sequel.
Hanazakari no Kimitachi e [花ざかりの君たちへ]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
I wasn't sure about this drama at first, but it turned out to be an amusing drama. I think the dramatic part of the drama took a backseat to the comedy. And I also think that this drama has one of the best OST (which is why I gave it a 9 instead of 8).
Ichi Ritoru no Namida [1リットルの涙]
Rating: 10/10 (Watched)
A very touching drama. The fact that it was based on a true story made it that much more inspirational. I've never cried before when watching dramas or movies, but I couldn't help but shed some tears while watching this drama. I also loved the theme song and soundtrack.
Iryu [医龍 Team Medical Dragon]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
Iryu Season 2 [医龍 2]
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
The medical aspect of the drama was as good as it was on the first season, but I didn't really like the fact that the original team dragon took a backseat.
Iryu Season 3 [医龍]
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
Kurosagi [クロサギ]
Rating: 3/10 (Watched)
Last Friends [ラスト・フレンズ]
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
This drama was filled with controversial topics, but I thought the plot flowed really well. The theme song by Utada Hikaru was just perfect for this drama. However, I thought that Nagasawa Masami's acting was flat. The lead role should've went to someone else. The other actors were great though, particularly Ueno Juri and Eita.
Liar Game [ライアーゲーム]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
This drama was interesting. I liked the mind games and puzzle aspects of the drama. I also appreciated the moral of the drama (no matter how unrealistic it is).
Love Shuffle [ラブシャッフル]
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
This drama was different and amusing. I appreciated the fact that this wasn't a typical romance drama. The idea of Love Shuffle was interesting, although I don't think I'd approve of it of it was executed in real life...
Maou [魔王]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
It was a great suspense drama, and a must watch for suspense / thriller fans. However, I liked the first half better than the second half.
Nobuta wo Produce [野ブタ。をプロデュース]
Rating: 4/10 (Watched)
Highly Overrated. The only thing I liked about this drama was seeing Horikita Maki in a different type of role (other than the ones that she always plays).
Nodame Cantabile [のだめ カンタビ−レ]
Rating: 10/10 (Watched)
The first time I watched it, I liked it. When I re-watched it a year later (along with the 2 specials and the movie), I fell in love with it! It was hilarious, and the cast members had great chemistry. I also loved the classical music.
Ryusei no Kizuna [流星の絆]
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
I thought this was a great drama, with a good script and plot. I loved the chemistry between the Ariake siblings. Mika Nakashima's role, however, was just weird and confusing. I didn't completely understand the point of her role. However, her insert song was perfect for the drama.
Shibatora [シバトラ]
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
Stand UP!!
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
I can see why this drama was considered controversial!! However, I thought this drama was hilarious and had a solid plot
Summer snow
Rating: 9/10 (Watched)
Great acting by the actors really enhanced this touching drama.
The Quiz Show Season 2 [ザ・クイズショウ 2]
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
This drama had so much more potential, but ended up to be a mediocre drama. I was quite disappointed by the plot and the ending. I thought the reason for the revenge was somewhat weak... Sakurai Sho's acting certainly improved though.
Uta no Onii-san [歌のおにいさん]
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
This is a light drama that isn't really meant to be taken too seriously. The over-acting and exaggeration of facial expressions were unbearable at times, but the drama itself was ok. However, this drama definitely had a memorable soundtrack.
Voice [ヴォイス]
Rating: 8/10 (Watched)
Yamada Taro Monogatari [山田太郎ものがたり]
Rating: 7/10 (Watched)
I didn't read the manga, so I can't make any comparison. I thought the drama was ok. The plot was pretty typical (the importance of familial bonds over money), but I thought the comedic and serious scenes complimented each other. However, the cast was quite disappointing. Tabe Mikako was average, Sakurai Sho was borderline horrible, and Ninomiya didn't fit the role (even if he is a good actor).

Atashinchi no Danshi [アタシんちの男子]
Better than expected [Rating: 8/10]
In the beginning, I thought it would be too silly for my liking. But it turned out to be quite an amusing drama. After I finished one episode, I had to watch the next one immediately. And I enjoyed watching the characters grow closer and closer as a family.
Bloody Monday [ブラッディ・マンデイ]
Great drama! [Rating: 9/10]
This was a great drama. Each episode was filled with unexpected twists and turns, and I couldn't help but watch all of it in one day because I wanted to find out who the bad guy was. Definitely a must watch if you like suspense / thriller type drama. SPOILER Although I must say that i had mixed feelings about the ending. I'm not sure if I like the fact that the main culprit turned out to be one of the minor characters. The ending was kinda open ended in general (not that it's necessarily a bad thing...)
Cat Street [キャットストリート]
... [Rating: 6/10]
Disappointing. This drama would have been so much better if it was 10 or 11 episodes instead of 6, as it would have allowed for more development. If I hadn't read the manga (which is a hundred times better than the drama), I think some parts would have been confusing / unnatural. I would not recommend this drama. But I would recommend the manga, because I do think that the idea of Cat Street is pretty interesting. Loved the theme song by Ikimono gakari. :)
Celeb to Binbo Taro [セレブと貧乏太郎]
Great drama ... Horrible ending [Rating: 5/10]
The drama was great!! It was a light and funny drama, with great performances from Ueto Aya and Kamiji Yusuke. The ending, however, ruined everything for me. It made absolutely no sense, and I probably would have been happier if they didn't end up together. I have to say that this is probably one of the worst drama endings I've ever seen. Because of the horrendous ending, I have to give this drama a 4/10. I'm giving it an extra point for a great ending song by one of my favorite band, ikimono gakari.
Hachimitsu to Kuroba [ハチミツとクローバー]
Simple and Beautiful [Rating: 8/10]
To be honest, The drama was slow, especially in the beginning. I almost dropped it after the second episode. But somewhere along the way, this drama started to grow on me. By the end of it, I found that I really enjoyed this drama. I can't really describe it, but this drama really was touching. If I was impartial though, I would probably give this drama a 6/10. I didn't read the manga or watch the anime, so I can't make any comparison
Iryu [医龍 Team Medical Dragon]
Awesome medical drama [Rating: 9/10]
It was a great medical drama. The surgeries were highly realistic, and I think that was one of the strong points of this drama. Other than the medical aspect, this drama had a solid plot (which followed the manga pretty closely) and a great OST. Overall, it was one of the few medical dramas in which the medical aspect was not greatly overshadowed by other things in the plot.
Kurosagi [クロサギ]
Disappointing [Rating: 3/10]
The first episode was interesting, but it was clearly misleading. I was thoroughly disappointed by the ending and the plot in general. Should avoid this drama unless you are a hardcore fan of the lead actor / actress. SPOILER Other things that annoyed me includes: 1. The stalker-ish cop. Every time he laughed, I felt like throwing something across the room. (I have nothing against the actor, but the laugh was just creepy). 2. Yukari. Throughout the drama, I thought she was a horrible friend. The scene where she made up with Tsurara at the last 10 minutes of the last episode was unnatural and unrealistic. 3. Tsurara's senpai. What was the point of her character? 4. Katsuragi. How he got to his position of power was never fully explained, and I was annoyed by the fact that he kept spitting out his food.
Shibatora [シバトラ]
Good [Rating: 7/10]
This drama was interesting, and it kept me interested until the end. However, it had the potential to be better.
Voice [ヴォイス]
Not what I expected, but it was still good [Rating: 8/10]
Those who are expecting to watch a drama about forensic medicine should be aware that forensics was clearly not the focus of this drama. I would say that this drama is more of a human drama, with some detective work mixed in it. Nevertheless, I enjoyed this drama. The highlight of this drama for me was the touching scenes at the end of the episodes. The actors conveyed those scenes extremely well. I also liked the subtle romance between Daiki and Aki.
