You can think at the same time when watching this "light" drama. Abe Hiroshi rocks.

Shiroi kage [白い影]
Although setting (hospital) typical, still very different drama. Thought provoking even after you have watch the whole series.

Summer snow
Best drama all time. Flawless.

Exceptional talent in sniffing out the great script from a pile of garbage.

Shinohara Ryoko [篠原涼子]
Several times won the TV Academy award, and for a reason. One of the most talented actors/actresses all time in the world.

Ueno Juri [上野樹里]
Great young comedienne, who needs to get more roles a la Nodame Cantabile, and forget the more serious and "masculine" type of roles. Great charismatic personality.

Still the best [Rating: 10/10]
One of the first Jdoramas I watched and still the best after dozens. Humor and drama in just right balance. Terrific ending without the usual underlinings of the way people should live their lives. Great actors and particularly memorable performance (her best) of Ryoko Hirosue.
