She is beautiful and have a girl next door look. Watched quite a few of her shows. Too bad she still remained as 2nd level actress for most jdramas

Ooku Dai-ishou [大奧第一章]
Historical drama [Rating: 8/10]
I have yet to watch a japanese historical drama for a long,long time. the last time I attempted to watch one, the dialogue was too profound, probably because of the taiwanese translation. But Ooku is a highly recommended historical drama. Although set in ancient japan, the Edo era, the drama has 'modern' elements. it is not just 'mindless' fightings between shogans..It is the complicated relationships amongst people in Oku that is the draw point.

Over Time [オーバー・タイム]
My fave jdrama since yr 2000 [Rating: 9/10]
This has been my fave drama since yr 2000(and still is). Probably because of the things that happened to me that year, so this drama acted like an reflection of my life at that point. Indeed the love between the lead actress and actor is deep yet incomprehensible. He chose to give up her, so that she can be with the doctor...It is indeed a true eg of sacrificial love. Profound and melancholic..

Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi [空から降る一億の星]
Superb drama [Rating: 9/10]
(I watched this drama last year, so I may have forgotten the details) The beginning part of the drama was rather slow moving. The director protrayed Takuya in such a way that you will think he is the baddie.. However the gradual change in his character came towards the later part of the show, where you see his soft side and you began to understand why he behaved in the bad-guy way. The ending was extremely disturbing and sad. The twist in tale was really too much for me to bottle. I was really sadden by the ending..it was really beautifuly and melancholic...
