I love movies and dramas about food, this one about Japanese Snacks so I assume this drama will make me drool!Originaly from manga,this dorama is about Ando Natsu struggling to be a Japanese Snack Master. Everyday she learns how to make new scrumptious snacks and dishes to sell in her landlady's snack shop located in Asakusa, Tokyo. The dorama is heartwarming and I learn lot of Japanese culture and aestethics!This dorama has its moments that make me smile and make me cry. I saw BOSS dvd with 50% off during my visit to my favourite japanese dvd shop. I read the synopsis and the casting, hmmm...I bought it and give it a try. Never heard about this dorama from my friends who love jdorama, but after watching it for 2 episodes, I totally love this dorama and spread the news to my fellow jdorama friends..Amami Yuki looks so charismatic and kakkoi here and she is the BOSS of the weird detective team. At first, the team is falling apart but the BOSS try to build their relationship from one episodes to another! The crime scenes and cases they have to solve is ery compicated and keep me guessing uneasy..As a thriller jdorama fan, I really enjoyed this dorama so much and BOSS is my favourite dorama of the year, 2009! The storyline is great, suspense and sometimes funny while the casting is superb. |

I must say this is a wonderful drama, absolutely a great one.. I was looking for something light and relaxing to watch till I found this drama. The drama welcome us with a lovely coffee shop situated in a shopping alley of retro feeling. Its about the coffee shop owner who had a dark past, trying to find a new light in his life. He met his customers, who also runs business at the shopping alley. Each one of them are so very unique and quirky, together they share their life story and problem. Never did the coffee shop owner know that he will meet the wife of the man he murdered long time ago. From there, the drama continuously showcasting viewers the beauty of forgiveness and empathy. I cried each and every epiodes, I am totally absorbed into the plot..although life is hard, with a little bit of help and support from other kind hearted people will make us going. I was in Japan during summer 2009 and Karei Naru spy is airing on TV. Wow..I need to get the dvd when I get back to Malaysia, and I did. There is a 70s-80s retro comic feeling about this jdorama, maybe because the music and Kyoko Fukada's dressing! I love Kyoko fukada and tomoya nagase acting together, they always fights like kids.
