they changed their concert ticket system...

no longer can people just wait in line to purchase them, now it is by email reservation only, which basically means people that are general audiences and especially fans from overseas, WILL MOST LIKELY NOT BE ABLE TO SEE THEM NOW...!!!!!!!!!

i am so pissed, and sad now.
all now i can visit is the store, there are other fans from overseas that will be there next month too, i guess we can do nothing but visit the store, atleast i got lucky last time and met my favorite AKB girl in person.

80 tickets are available via email each day. You send in your email request 5 days in advance for the date you want. Unfortunately, only 10 tickets via email are available for foreigners. 64 for Akihabara, Saitama, etc residents, and only 6 for families.

250 tickets are sold for each show.

170 tickets for each show are still sold the old fashion way.... by standing in line.

The 10 for foreigners are done by lottery. So give that a shot. How many people from LA, on any given day, are going to want to watch the show?

Just remember to email 5 days in advance of the show you want to see. You get confirmation on the next day.

Man, the numbers just didn't add up. I think the problem is in the first paragraph. There's actually only a 240 person capacity.

There is nothing more important, significant, or worthwhile to do in Japan than to see AKB48 perform LIVE in their home theater in Akihabara!

i must be reading this wrong, i am i hope to god you are right about this, i thought that they gotten rid of their lining up system entirely, that is what i got out of it.

but from what you read, which is most current, is that they are NOT getting rid of this system? i am ultra confused now. I thought they made it an email only resevation system, closed to outside general fans, especially foreigners.

I didn't read the above text. My wife did. It appears as if it's actually a good deal for us "outsiders". 10 tickets for each for performance, via email, will be sold to "outsiders". If you don't get an outsider ticket via email... go stand in line the old way. The bulk of the tickets are still sold to people willing to get up at 3am and stand in line for that day's show.
