Hardsubbed it, encoded it, authored it, and watched it all in one day....

And all I can say is that it's FUN.... VERY VERY FUN!! w00t! Dancing Victory! Peace!

Nothing Earth-shattering or painstakingly deep, but well-paced and thoroughly and wonderfully enjoyable.

Not a single misstep in the entire movie. Ueno Juri and the rest of the cast is likable, adorable, and fun to watch... Now I've gotta find the OST for this movie. Beaten

An easy 10/10 for me.

A great follow-up to watching Nodame. Thumbsup

I have been wondering if I should/could start a thread for this movie ever since I joined this forum. Thank you very much for doing so. Dancing

She played the trombone as Kobayashi Yoko. In the final concert she's second from the left in the middle row.

Wanna know why the delivery guy bringing the lunches to the school was late? Here's a side story from the DVD:

This one is a casual photo, probably taken during the film shoot. From top left to bottom right the girls are: Kanjiya Shihori (lead trumpet), Tatsumi Natsuko (trombone), Abe Nagisa (trumpet), Motokariya Yuika (lead trombone), Ueno Juri (lead saxaphone).

There was a bit of the movie that got edited out. When the girls told the bentou guy they'll help with the delivery, the guy gave them the karaoke coupon. This is why after they delivered the lunches at the stadium Tomoko (Ms. Ueno) said they'll go to the karaoke next.

So desu.

I think it was a good thing to edit out the reason why the delivery guy was late: it would have been a unnecessary distraction to the story...

Another casual photo probably taken during their promotion trip to New York. From top left to bottom right:

Ueno Juri, Mizuta Fumiko, Abe Nagisa, Nakamura Chise, Tatsumi Natsuko, Kanazaki Mutsumi, Nemoto Masae, Kanjiya Shihori, Nakazawa Natsuki
