I have been seeing the commercial to this a lot lately on the Japanese channel I watch(I pay a monthly fee for the NHK channel) for "Hagetaka:Road to Rebirth"

And was wondering if anyone has seen it?
I was wondering if it is a movie(short film), or a series.:/
It looks neat, and has my fav. actress in it.*_* (Chiaki Kuriyama) |

It's a short 6 episode drama series about corporate acquisitions: http://jdorama.com/drama.1135.htm. Haven't seen it yet.
Ep 1: Nihon o Kaitataku (bulk sale)
Ep 2: Golden Parachute (golden parachute)
Ep 3: Owarinaki Nyuusatsu (bid to select sponsors)
Ep 4: Gekishin! Kabuneshi Soukai (proxy fight)
Ep 5: White Knight (takeover bid)
Ep 6: New Buyout (employee buyout) |

It was brilliant. And CK as journalist, wow, she was great. It was kind of funny to see her in a school uniform again in the backflashes.
I liked it so much that I had to get the DVD. First place in Verona was definitely deserved.
Soundtrack's pretty good, too. |
