The drama is based on the popular manga of the same name by Nakajo Hisaya, which has already been dramatized in Taiwan. Horikita plays the protagonist Ashiya Mizuki, a Japanese girl in the U.S. who one day sees the young athlete Sano Izumi (Oguri) compete in the high jump on television. She begins to idolize him, and decides to move to Japan to attend the same school as him. However, Izumi goes to an all-boys school, so Mizuki disguises herself as a boy to achieve her dream of being with her idol. all right!!.. besides Misaki's new drama.. im excited about this one either.. Oguri Shun and Maki Horikita.. the theme song is PEACH by Ai Otsuka. _________________

Only 3 more days!!!!! So the OP is Ai Otsuka's PEACH, then Ikenai taiyou by Orange Range is the insert song???

hi...can't wait for this one to some out...i read the manga and love it very very much and also watch the taiwanese version of hana kimi....lots of hunk...hehehe....

erm.. i'm not so much into taiwanese version...because i dont really like
ella (Lu Rui Xi; based on Mizuki Ashiya).. watched it becoz of those 2
handsome guys... Quan and Xiu Yi.. hehe

but i really can't wait for this dorama..must be more excited than taiwanese
version..

good! a thread for Hanakimi definitely gonna d/l this one...i love the manga, dunno about the Taiwan ver. thou...Maki is really suited as Mizuki and i can't wait to watch this, only 1 day to come!

will watch bec i love the main actors. hehe. and of course bec i read the manga and watched the tw vers a bit and didn't like it. so i'm hoping this one will do better (though i'm sure it's gonna be better really, just looking at maki vs ella ). _________________ then make one...a world where you can live. i'll make one for you. -->shuji

Yay a Hana Kimi thread I am so freaking psyched about this, I absolutely LOVE the manga (one of my faves) and to see it doramaized Japanese style Oguri Shun and Maki are a definite plus, I'm sure Toma will be fantastic too, I can see this role suiting him. My favourite character was always Nanba, I've not seen the guy who plays him act before so fingers crossed ^_^ (not long now) _________________ Kira is childish and he hates losing... Oh so when's the broadcasting time? I'm so looking forward to this drama!!! The cast seems great! I think Maki is more suitable for this role than ella because she's more feminine... I think ella's too man!! haha
