|
Ayase Haruka stars as the title character, Amemiya Hotaru, in this adaptation of Hiura Satoru's "Hotaru no Hikari" manga series. Hotaru is a twenty-something office lady who has become a "dried fish" - she has "retired" from love, and she prefers to spend her time lazily at home. Then one day, her world gets shaken up when she unexpectedly ends up living with her boss (Naohito Fujiki). To complicate her life even further, she begins to find romance with a new employee named Makoto (Kato Kazuki).

hoho! cant find a topic for "Hotaru no Hikari" so i opened it myself! haha! jus watched the first epi. maybe it's because i din expect much from this drama, i was so into it for the first epi! turn out good! hopefully it will continue! haha!  |

| same as you I didn't expect anything before watching the 1st ep. but it turn out to be a charm. I like Ayase Haruka's character in here. |

oh i don't really understand why people aren't commenting on this
it was pretty funny (first episode)
i didn't expect the house to be THAT MESSY
yah the boss is hot! haha
seems like this season's dramas are all kinda calm/a bit funny
nothing is too exciting
but almost every drama is around the same level of attractiveness |

yesyes!!! y are there so little comments? this show turn out better than how everyone has tot i guess! haha! well.. from wat i see... from those who has commented. honestly, the casts did not attract me but it was one afternoon when i had nuttin to do, i clicked on the drama. omg! it turned out...  hahaha! the house is real messy and i like the way "dried fish" is... hahaha!
and i also agree that this season's dramas are nuttin too exciting. all seems to be equal! cant realli rank them.. maybe at the same time im not very into love dramas. haha! waitin for the nex epi! |

| Watched three episodes so far, and it's truly worth watching! "Ahomiya's" character really cracks me up and when she whines she's the funniest, looking forward to the next episodes!! |

I have fallen hard for this drama!!!
The real reason that I downloaded it was because Fujiki Naohito was in it (I love him in dramas!) and I was hooked 15 minutes into the first episode!
I really love the character of Hotaru! Such a different role from the one that she played in Byakuyakou. She is so funny and she actually reminds me of my best friend! Bochou and Hotaru are hilarious together and really sweet too!
So far this is my favorite show of the Summer season!!! |

I just started watching this last night....Ayase haruka is soooo kawaii! haha! what a funny but pretty tard XD Hehe, she looks so cute when she cries oh, and her reaction when...

And Nao is pretty funny too! the way he's so grossed out by Ayase's character XD Kinda reminds me of Chiaki and Nodame.

I got interested in the drama because Fujiki's in it. But it turns out that Ayase's also really fun to watch here. I've been used to seeing her in serious dramas that i couldn't imagine her in a wacky role. Her expressions are so funny

It doesn't matter whether she is in a good or bad mood, her sitting room looks as if a typhoon just swept over!!......i feel comforted.....somebody is more untidy than i am.....
.....still middle of the show, I wonder if the manager would fall for her ??? I would if i were him........They really behaved as if they were a real couple at home......i cannot think of anyone who wouldt lie flat on your back when an unrelated person is in their house, would you ?? |
