Karina holds a release event for her new photo book

On October 27th, model / actress Karina held a release event for her new photo book, “One.“.

The photo book features pictures of Karina in an immaculate wedding dress. Karina has modeled many wedding dresses in the past, and even produces them herself. When reporters mentioned the jinx, ‘if you wear a wedding dress before getting married, your chance of marriage will be delayed’, Karina responded with a bitter smile and said, “There is pressure.” Regarding prospects of her own marriage, she shared, “I would like to get married someday, but I’m not in a hurry,” and continued, “If I had a partner, I would immediately wear a wedding dress. I will do my best!”

Karina currently stars in the ‘Getsu9′ drama, “Watashi ga Renai Dekinai Riyuu“, as a woman who fails at love. She described her actual love life with, “If I was good at love, I would already be married. It depends on the time and place, but maybe I’m not good at it.” She also expressed, “You never know what could happen in life, so you have to live today to the fullest, and bear fruit. Through the drama, I want to study about love and hope to go with the natural flow.”

“One.” is a collection of photos from Karina’s everyday lifestyle. It contains her recommended fashion, hair style, and private items. Karina also provided a few of the photos herself, like the two-shot that she took with her dog. She promoted the photo book saying, “Not only do I want women to see it, but men as well.”

Just watched the first 2 episodes, if you liked Gokusen you'd like this, plays a teacher trying to reform a class of the lower than lows.

Watashi ga Renai Dekinai Riyuu also co-stars Yuriko Yoshitaka, Freeter, Ie o Kau had Ninomiya in it.

Karina has another drama coming this January, Dirty Mama, also starring Hiromi Nagasaku.

Based on a novel by Hata Takehiko, the comedic story revolves around a single mother and police detective named ‘Maruoka Takako’ who teams up with a trainee detective named ‘Nagashima Aoi’ to unfold crime. At times, Maruoka will take bribes, and will even bring her child to the scene of the crime.

Nagasaku, who plays the heroic ‘Maruoka Takako’, gave an analysis of her character saying, “She’s a person who protects the things she has to protect. She lives while knowing that living isn’t such an easy thing.”

Meanwhile, Karina takes on a role of the trainee detective ‘Nagashima Aoi’. As her first time starring with Nagasaku, she commented, “She’s my ’senpai’ that I’ve wanted to work with for some time, so I was very happy. I’m excited to see how I will be bossed around by Takako (Nagasaku).”

Yeah, I'm also waiting for it to be completely subbed before I start watching it.

^^ Tried to watch a few of the newer ones from their start, couldn't do it, much prefer watching them all in a row within a few days.
