Rosa Kato to star in "Perfect Blue" Actress Rosa Kato (24) will star in a WOWOW drama special called "Perfect Blue." The drama is based on a novel by prize-winning author Miyuki Miyabe, not to be confused with the Yoshikazu Takeuchi novel that was turned into Satoshi Kon's animated film "Perfect Blue." Miyabe's "Perfect Blue" novel was her first full-length work, written in 1989. It revolves around a female sleuth (Kato) trying to solve the mystery behind a high school baseball player's death. Aoi Nakamura (18) and Shin Takuma (53) play other characters in the story. WOWOW will broadcast "Perfect Blue" on February 7.

Kato Rosa announces marriage, pregnancy Posted on June 22, 2011 by tokyograph On Wednesday, actress Kato Rosa (26) unexpectedly announced on her official website that she is now married to soccer player Matsui Daisuke (30). She also revealed that she is currently pregnant with her first child, and sources report that she is in her fourth month. Kato and Matsui reportedly met through a friend during autumn of last year. They began seriously dating around the start of this year, even though it was a long-distance relationship. Matsui is based in France, where he plays for Grenoble in Ligue 2. The couple decided to register their marriage on June 22, which was Kato’s 26th birthday. Kato is expected to give birth this December. She will keep working for now, including filming for an NTV television show and a role in the recently revealed movie “Girl.” After the childbirth, she plans to continue her career as much as possible while also raising the child. Last month, Matsui declared that he will be leaving Grenoble, though his next team has not yet been determined. As soon as that is settled, he and Kato plan to find a place to live together. Kato Rosa becomes a mother December 14, 2011 Actress Kato Rosa announced through her management agency’s website that she gave birth to her first child on December 13 in France. The baby boy was born at around 6:30am local time. Kato got married to soccer player Matsui Daisuke this past June after dating for about half a year. Kato was four months pregnant at the time. Matsui currently plays in France’s Ligue 1. In July of this year, he transferred from Grenoble Foot 38 to Dijon FCO. Source: Mantan Web
