Since they disbanded, I'm having a hard time to keep up. Tommy February 6, Tommy heavenly 6, Blythe... I don't know which one is the latest or if they are all active groups.

Just to see Pemu resurface. |
Not a chance.
I think Pemu went down with the Titanic.

now listening to Tommy heavenly6 new song, I Love Xmas. |
Me too! Been playing their first CD forever, finally got the 97-08 singles collection, they are better than I thought! Hard to believe this thread has been so quiet, always seems as though they are one of those in-between bands that are hard to hate ...poppy, but no overly so, rocking but not too heavy. Gonna have to go thru the thread harder and find a few more albums to check out.

If you get their "Los Angeles" CD you really can't go wrong - not a bad song on that, and several that are magical in the way they evoke memories of first loves, High School days, etc. "Summer is Over," "Angel Song," "Hidoi Ame" are all outstanding.
Also go for Tomoko's "Tommy Heavenly6" and "Heavy Starry Heavenly" discs - harder-edged rock than TBG, but both of them great albums with great songs and a really tight backing band. I'm looking forward to the next BuriGuri full-length disc, and if the two singles they've released recently - "Ash Like Snow" and "Like Yesterday" - are any indication...
And just don't get me started on Judy And Mary - now that band created pure magic every time they plugged in.
Too bad they broke up.

Tommy Heavenly6 is ust incredible..too bad she`s only good on CD and dosent do too good in LIVES.
and as for Judy Mary. well they were class. and i still listen to some of YUKI (JM vocalist) `s songs...even tho they are alot more chilled out, she has such an unusual voice _________________
