Guys, not to offend anyone, but I'd like to know what happened to him ? I was so surprised when I saw the pics a few pages back since he was still okay in the MS special.

No idea. People joke around that he gained weight because of his breakup with Hamasaki, and mebbe that IS the reason. No one knows for sure.

Hi Cheekbones, well, the only drama of Tomoya's I've seen is My Boss My Hero, and I loved it. Very silly, fun drama. I do have Tiger And Dragon, but yet to watch it.

I didn't even know Tomoya had ever put any weight on until this thread. But yeah, maybe Wynter's right as to why.

And at the end of the day, it doesn't matter if he's gained weight or not. He's still an awesome actor who is both entertaining and talented. What I love most about him is how he'll abandon his "hot-boy charm" for his roles. The way he throws his facial expressions around in MBMH is hilarious, and no one self-conscious of their looks (J-boys come to mind) could pull it off. Nagase is confident and that alone wins my attention.

nah, i don't judge people by their physical appearances. but like Wynter said, it's probably due to the break-up. some people say you tend to eat a lot when you're under a lot of stress

Oh, yeah, I agree with you. He's so totally un-like a JE boy. That's what attracted me in the first place. He looks like a rebellious, bad boy to me.

As to his weight, well, whatever is comfortable for him. But I doubt JE would let "this thing" last too long. How does he look in Utahime ?

You gotta watch Ikebukuro West Gate Park...it's written by the same guy who did Tiger & Dragon...I just finished watching the special today...fuggin' hilarious.

Yea, I've had it burned FOREVER but I haven't watched it yet. I DID see the first few episodes tho while my bro was watching it. He loved it too, and he's a huge fan of T&D. I prolly won't get to it until after Christmas tho.
