I think I might take you up on your offer because I realize that it'll take me forever to author the entire series to DVD and I just don't want to spend the time doing that, especially since it's already been done.

I think the authoring is so-so... I was really planning on re-authoring it.

I guess I have motivation now. Victory! Peace!

Just curious--why are you going to reauthor it? And what quality is that 17-disc series?

'Cause the menus and layout sucks.

And what quality is that 17-disc series?

Episodes 1-6 are like VCR rips so they're only average... Maybe a little better than that.

Episodes 7-48 are very good, near-DVD quality.

Episode 49 (two parts) is like a VCR rip again... Dunno why. Head Scratch

I was wondering if anyone from the USA sent dramas to the UK before. Just curious because I wanted to know if it was wiser to ship 45 DVDs in one package or split them up. Since I'm doing a first-time trade with someone, I wanted to break it up into 2 shipments, but I'm thinking it'll be cheaper to send it in one package rather than splitting it up. Does anyone have any opinions/advice?

Remember Beem's package to me never arrived - I'd send the lot recorded delivery, or split them up. Just my suggestion.

Yikes, I remember reading about that on the forums. Sad I'm going to split them up and maybe get a delivery confirmation if possible (and if it's cheap enough). Thanks for the advice. Smile

I always ship flat rate Global Priority mail to the UK and have never had a problem. Cost about $13. Victory! Peace! So you can fit 60+ discs in the package.
The package takes about a week, no more to get there from here.

Ooh, thanks for the info. Smile Now I'm wondering if I should really break the shipment into 2. Ah well, I guess I learned something for the next trading session.
