I thought they were going to be avi files too, but they're not. Someone just squished 7 episodes on each disc, and the quality is surprisingly decent. Well, with the exception of it distorting during scenes where people walk in front of the character or certain lines in the pic (those door screen thingies) get a bit blurry.

Thorough, anal, whatever. Is that the version that you have too? I noticed that you are looking for a better English subbed version. Maybe one of these days the retail version will be circling around because I want to get rid of those awful fonted subs.

Nope, I have a retail version which has B- subs.
