I'm watching Bloody Monday currently and I gotta say I'm kinda impressed by him I've only seen him in Koizora before, and even then I thought he totally overshadowed Yui Aragaki in terms of acting.

He's definitely a better actor amongst the floods of other teenage actors in my book

Haruma Miura takes to the stage

Popular teen actor Haruma Miura will be taking on his first stage production next year. He has been cast as the star of "Hoshi no Daichi ni Furu Namida," produced by the theatrical group Chikyu Gorgeous. The play is written and directed by Goro Kishitani, who established the Chikyu Gorgeous group along with Yasufumi Terawaki.

The play is a historical fantasy set during a time of great war. Miura plays a young man who loses the memory of his defeat in battle and is washed ashore on a remote island. There, he is taken in by a woman (Yoshino Kimura) until he recovers his memory.

"Hoshi no Daichi" will be performed in Tokyo at the Akasaka ACT Theater from June 20 to July 26.

He's so cool in that drama...
and I heard that he will be in the Crows Zero 2 too!!!

actually I also just finished watching Crows Zero I...rite after I watched Bloody monday..and I love that movie... Nice action movie...great moves... another amazing piece by Takashi Miike...
I have high hopes for the sequel...can't wait 2 see Haruma's great action moves...

Indeed, Miura is going to play one of the Housen Killer Corps leader, Mito Tatsuya, which i found very awkward, i like Miura a lot but Mito is one of the most mean and evil guys in the entire manga, Miura�Ls face and looks just don�Lt feat that role at all lol. Well i tought Yamada Takayuki would be a crappy Serizawa but he turned out to be the best character from the entire movie(imo).
Let�Ls see how Miura plays the fierce Mito Tatsuya.

Don�Lt worry, i�Lm pretty sure that he�Ls gonna fight, i saw a picture where he�Ls kicking Washio Gotta(well that�Ls probably not a fight), Tatsuya(Miura Haruma)could kill Gota(Namioki Kazuki) just with one of his fingers.

He will probably get his ass kicked by Rindaman(Fukami Motoki), since he�Ls the only guy from Suzuran that can beat Tatsuya.

I�Lm sorry i tried to find a bigger picture but couldn�Lt do it, but if you look at the bottom of the picture you�Lll see Tatsuya(Miura Haruma) kicking Gotta, but don�Lt expect to much from this specific fight, Gotta is a weakling while Tatsuya is a monster of Rindaman�Ls level, so it�Ls gonna be an easy win for Tatsuya.
The only ones who can take him to a good fight are Genji(Oguri Shun), Tamao(Yamada Takayuki) or Rindaman(Fukami Motoki).
