Cool music, just like the first one it fits the "Rookies world" very well; can´t tell if it´s better than the first one, i heard the first one so many times that it sticked in my head, i need to watch this one as many times to grasp really how much i like it lol.

Kiseki will be hard to beat since it was a really popular song. I think it did extremely well in sales. Below are pics of ROOKIES ads at Shibuya Station.



I watched the movie today and I thought it was wonderful.

A lot of people in the audience were crying at the end. The woman who sat next to me couldn't stop the tears. I kinda got choked up with Aniya's last pitch scene. A great ending to ROOKIES and this yakyu dorama has won me over!

I just read the spoilers, they arenn´t big spoilers but at the same time they encrease my will to watch the movie, unfortunetly i´ll have to wait for the movie to be available in the internet

Trying to remember how long after April 2008 that Kurasagi, the Movie was on those streaming sites with subtitles...mmmmmmm I know it was shortly thereafter, i know it was not longer than two months...who knows those "two girls with the wheelie suitcase" just might show up at the Rookies movie

I was wondering, do I really have to watch the SP? Cause I'm still debating whether or not to dl it since I read somewhere that is mostly recap of the whole drama.

I would say it's doing extremely well since I couldn't purchase any tickets opening weekend. I've tried at numerous theaters to no avail. I had to watch on a weekday and still the theater was near capacity. Here's some box office info at jpopasia website:

Wow it´s first in japanese box office during the first 3 weeks:
1st week: $12,703,775
2nd week: $10,858,252
3rd week: $8,278,440

It´s weird that a dorama with only 14% of tv rating is able to do this well in theatres.

Rookies is also the best adapted manga on drama, which is very rare. It really respects the manga, which was already excellent.

I hope the movie will keep on doing well

I agree with you on that, normally they put more drama and romance in the adaptations and it ends up stealing the essence of the manga.

That´s what´s gonna happen with the Kochikame live action this summer, first Katori Shingo playing Ryotsu and i´m pretty sure they are gonna ruin the comedy of the story.
