| What? No love for Osen? I kinda like this one so far. It doesn't seem too over the top like some doramas currently airing. Really down to earth. |

This show is so darn cute! I love Osen! I thought she was annoying in the very beginning but I've fallen for her. I hope she and the Johnny's guy get raburabu because they are so adorable. I love all the food making and stuff too. I honestly thought this show would be boring and stupid from the description but it's really not. _________________

i guessed you've never seen Aoi Yuu performance right?
Hiroki did well too. I thought he was annoying at first but that's just the character. In every episode he was a bit annoying in the first half but gradually became quite adorable in the end. I haven't watched the latest one. Heard it hinted about Osen-san feelings towards Yochan-san. Don't understand how could she fall for that idiot though but its cute. |

finally i was able to watch the first episode after utmost more than 3 days of dloading time.. the transfer rate is awfully low..bohooo..
first and foremost, i was drooling over the foods!! if only i cud just grab them out from the screen..
it's my first time watching Uchi and Aoi in a drama.. im just impressed with their acting especially Aoi!! she's soooo cute and bubbly in there, the Sake-reaking okami!!
as for Uchi, he's such a dork in the drama!! he can easily act it out for i think his character in there is not far from his real personality offscreen..although there are times that i think he was being exaggerated..
there are some familiar faces in the drama like the head chef whom also acted as Sano's father in HK, was it assistant chef??, who acted also as Kikuchi-kun in NC and the one i've been laughing so far at.. was Sakurai-sensei, who acted as Son Rui's mother in the NC SP..it's kinda weird seeing her standard pose..
so far so good, i've been loving it..can't wait for episode 2!! Nya fansubs had only released episodes 1 and 2.. hopefully they'd get to release the next ones ASAP..XD
yosh, just posting some scaps..
Aoi's such a cutie and innocent looking girl when i first saw her wearing that traditional apron..awwww.. _________________

finished watching episode 2!! seems like this drama is just like Gokusen, Yukan CLub, i mean for every episode, the plot's different and new characters are seen..
| Spoiler (highlight text to read): | i find it funny that Yocchan-san always tends to move out of the restaurant whenever he encounters problems with regards to his job then eventually wud come back..just how many times he'll be doing that and how many times will Osen-san forgive and accept him again..
i was touched when Osen-san justified her reason for choosing to separate the beans together with Yocchan-san..she seems to be comfortable working with him.. and there are some cheesy parts too, although they're light in some way..but still made me giddy at least.. since Osen-san had mentioned something about boyfriend, hir's my wishful thinking that by the next episodes, her BF wud appear then jealousy surfaces..
regarding the foods..i wanna have a sip of that Miso soup too!!
stepping on those beans seems such a fun thing to do..it's so nice seeing something new like that, more added knowledge..

awaiting episode 3!! NYAAAAAA!! _________________

I'm glad to see Aoi Yu again, I haven't seen her in anything since her role in "Tiger and Dragon" (which I loved).
Uchi's character grates on my nerves a bit at first, but is eventually redeemed.
I really enjoy this drama, its funny and it makes me want to cook. |

I agree! Aoi Yu act in mostly movies but i think she rocks in dramas as she has a certain innocent and sweet charisma on screen. Can't take your eyes from her. Uchi also make me grind my teeth initially, but now he is maturing and shaping up in the show.
I love the cooking, the emphasis on the Japanese traditional culture and the relaxing pace of the show. Sad to say the ratings in Japan is quite poor. Too many good dramas this season. _________________

Haven't got the chance to watch this. Although I've read positive opinions about it, I get the impression that it's all about food. So what's the real issue? |
