Very powerful scene and knowing "truth"'s meaning gave a greater impact to the whole scene.

The Nikan Sports Drama Awards voting just started! It will end on October 4 so please vote for Maou as best drama, best Actor (Ohno Satoshi = "大野智(魔王,TBS)"), best supporting actor (pick one of the "魔王(TBS)" xD), best supporting actress (Kobayashi Ryoko 小林涼子). Too bad Toma is in the lead actor category. I would have voted for him if he's in the supporting actor category. Ohno consistently was amazing throughout the series. Plus we have to vote for a female lead and Maou had none. I voted for Miyazaki Aoi (Atsuhime lead actress)

i haven't watched the korean original but without a doubt maou is one of the best dramas for this year so far! loved every single minute of it!  once you watch the first episode, you just want to keep watching until the very end...suspense til the very end!! |

Excuse me.. did Ohno just won Best Lead Actor in a dorama for Nikkan Sports Drama Awards?
I saw it was posted on LJ communities but the source was from a now locked YamaPi's Code Blue LJ.. 
Any official news/link?
Its almost a sweep for Maou
Best Drama: Maou (This season was pretty weak. Maou was the most entertaining with wonderful acting and plot imo  )
Best Lead Actress: Miyazawa Aoi - Atsuhime
Best Actor: Ohno Satoshi - Maou (as expected)
Best Supporting Actor: Tanaka Kei - Maou (I voted for Serizawa's father though)
Best Supporting Actress: Kobayashi Ryoko - Maou (  )
I think Code Blue got second in everything. Popularity not strong enough to win this I guess.

I'm still at epi 4 now...
I watched 'The Devil' korean version first than this dorama remake...
So far, there is nothing new that I found in dorama version, exactly the same with korean storyline, which disappointed me coz japanese usually try to make their 'own thing' when it came to remake.
I watched Meteor Garden first than Hana Yori Dongo, and Hana-Kimi taiwan first than dorama, both were completely different than their counterpart even though it actually the same storyline. So I kindda hope Maou is slightly different than The Devil, but so far it 100% the same! Because of that, I found Maou totally uninteresting coz I keep comparing it with korean version, which superbly GREAT ACTING from the actors.
However I will finishing it coz of the spirit of 'THE DEVIL' |
