I really liked Konishi Manami's guest role as a hostess/assassin. She should play more bad girl roles. Highlight of the show was when Kimoto slaps Hanagata's head.

When Toda popped out of that locker I started laughing out loud. Real high-tech police work, "Hide in the locker!!!"

Yep, she never fails to impress me. The intensity she creates in the show is something what the drama lacks.

Surprisingly, the guest stars in the last few episodes were the ones that give the drama an 'umph' ! The supporting casts were, to say the least, LAME !

Watching this without subs, but even so I am disappointed. Takenouchi is in a cameo role right? He is a missing person most of the time.

Maybe I will watch again with subs and maybe he will come across with more vigour.

Is Tekenouchi's character IS the BOSS for kidnapping that general. so all the way long, he was the mole?

but over all, i have to say that it is HUGE disappointment fpr me. with that cast, i was expecting a great detectice drama.

Yup, I remember watching epi 1 when they were introducing all the characters and it seemed like everybody in the group except Yuki and Tamayama had to have some odd quirk/eccentricity and I thought "They're trying too hard, they need to back off a little."

Actually you'd be surprised. The pic was very misleading and nearly none of the characters dress like they did in the pic.

It's sometimes nonsensical and silly and flashy. The plots always have gaping holes but they probably cast the right combination of folks and put in the right amount of entertainment to keep people coming back.

Takenouchi's character is supposed to be deep into corruption. The Special Crimes Unit is supposed to be the front for him to stash the money. I don't know how. And he's trying to cover his trail by kidnapping the police commissioner probably as a bargaining chip. It so happens that this group that appeared out of no where, is some terrorist organisation that's anti-government, and they've decided to collaborate with Nodate because they wish to seek revenge on the police commissioner for cracking down on their organisation after 5 long years. Hah. They look like mobsters rather than an anti-government group and it doesn't make sense.

I don't know why watching ep10 suddenly made me think of SP and the assassination attempt.

Goodness knows what kind of ending there'll be.

When the sniper calls Tamayama and the voice is disguised you know it's gonna be a woman. Who's the only woman character new this episode? Manami, who just happens to be Nukumizu's favorite hostess. What a coincidence. Then we've had the whole thing about Tamayama not being able to shoot his pistol so you just KNOW he's going to have to take the shot at the end. Big surprise.

But Manami sure did look good in black.

Did Sorimachi Takeshi have any lines at all, other than "yes, boss" ?

Final comment: if you have accidentally picked up this drama, you should also accidentally drop it.
