Mai turns 24 in October and she's 5'2" I think that's what 160cm is? LOL. Anyway she's basically being in the biz since she was 16. Smile

wow, since 16, just like Utada Hikaru....they started out young...
she's still young....

160cm divided by 2.5cm = 64 inches divided by 12 = 5 feet 3.33333 inches
approximately....give or take...that is a good height for a japanese girl.

I'm holding out for the tour DVD. I guess it should be out around November...... I've got her 2004 and 2005 tour DVDs.... I'm hopelessly addicted to Mai. Crazy

If you watch one of her tour DVDs, you will not be able to stop watching it over and over as I do. I like her 2004 tour best. In the 2005 tour DVD there is something not quite right in the sound mixing that makes her sound like she's warlbling when she holds the notes for a long time at the end of a number. But during the encore there is a really great moment.

She comes out to do her first encore, lifts the mike to her mouth to begin the song when the band and back up singers start to sing/play happy birthday and the audience goes berserk.... The look of surprise on Mai's face is priceless... I just have to watch it endlessly. You can tell it's totally unexpected. Then they bring out a cake and candles and a very young girl brings out a floral bouquet.

Even though the tour DVDs cost me about $40, they are worth every penny. Applaud Applaud Applaud
