That's good to know, was there earlier but the thread title still said episodes 1-8 subbed and didn't check any further, maybe that'll be the next watch, looks really interesting and wacky.

Kiritani Mirei chosen as the new image character for “Body Wild”

On January 20th, actress Kiritani Mirei attended a press conference for Gunze’s “Body Wild” as a new image character.

“Body Wild” is Gunze’s underwear brand that both men and women can enjoy. Aside from Kiritani being chosen as the new image character, Gunze decided to produce a special limited edition Valentine’s Day underwear.

Kiritani commented, “I was very honored to receive the news about becoming the image character! Shinohara Ryoko-san, whom I’ve looked up to, was the first image character, so I’m very happy to become the 11th.”

She continued, “Men who think about the fashion of their underwear are wonderful! I want to support things like that. To celebrate the Valentine’s season, we made underwear as gifts. We made both ‘honmei’ (real) and ‘giri’ (obligatory) underwear!”

In Japan, women give men chocolate and other gifts on Valentine’s Day. The chocolate gifts come in two different types: honmei choco and giri choco. Honmei choco is given to the person a woman has romantic feelings for, while giri choco is usually given to male coworkers and bosses out of obligation.

Recently, a new type called tomo choco is becoming popular among women. This is when a women gives chocolate to their female friends.

Body Wild’s honmei underwear has a simple design with a heart print on one side. Kiritani explained, “I thought it would be nice to be able to deliver your feelings to your ‘honmei’ in a casual manner.”

Finally, Kiritani said, “Just like how girls give boys chocolate, give underwear!“, and wrapped up the event.

On May 2nd, model/actress Kiritani Mirei attended a talk event at a ‘UNIQLO‘ store in Ginza.

Kiritani appeared at the event wearing the brand’s “easy cropped leggings”, which went on sale on April 23rd. Because the event was held with the theme of ‘Mother’s Day’, Kiritani described her relationship with her mom saying, “We have a relationship where we can say anything to each other. Last summer, we went on a trip and drank together. I felt that I’ve become an adult.”

When reporters asked, “Do you ask her for relationship advice?“, Kiritani declared, “Not much. Rather than love, I want to do my best with work.”

Kiritani, who says she often goes shopping with her mom, shared, “I have my mom coordinate outfits for me. She also gives me advice on fashion. For my mom, I recommend bright colors and clothes that show off her silhouette so that she won’t look like a middle-aged lady.”

During the event, Kiritani invited 3 mothers on stage and gave them each a carnation flower. Coming face-to-face with the actress, one woman burst into tears of joy. In response, Kiritani expressed, “Normally, I don’t get to directly speak to the people who support me, so I’m happy. I’m glad I’m doing this job.”

On May 12th and 13th, UNIQLO’s Ginza store will be holding ‘UNIQLO GINZA MOTHER’S WEEK‘, where they will hand out carnations to the first 400 people who purchase “easy cropped leggings”
