How would you attract a professional hockey team to Indianapolis? And by professional, I don't necessarily mean the NHL. Anyone familiar with hockey in Indy knows that we have had several minor league teams over the years, and currently have an amateur junior league team. I'm in favor of getting a pro minor league team back again. How would you make that happen?

^^ I'm not really sure, the NHL is one of those leagues that aren't afraid to move into smaller markets, guess to get a team to move there you would need someone quite wealthy to buy a team and move it there and to have an arena all ready to go.

I think you're 100% correct, Puppy Dog Eyes seen 2 BoSox titles in my lifetime, can't say the same for the B's so would be nice to see at least one SC from them before Father Time comes knocking at the door. Shake Head

Free Willy beats Jaws 7-3. Take a 2-0 Series lead.

EDIT: Oh man, when Eager was sent to the box after his late 3rd period goal. One Canucks fan was nice enough to show her boobs to Eager on the penalty box cam Naughty

^ I dunno. To use the old cliche, "It was a team effort". My main man Setoguchi was -3 with no shots on goal! Beaten

Sweat She's probably showing him what the reward is for taking a penalty, if the series goes back there he'll be living in the box. Naughty

2 Tyler Seguin Canada C Boston Bruins (from Toronto)

Ooops, uh, he scored again tonight, 4 goals in 3 games after he finished the season off by getting 0 goals and one assist in his last 19 games.
B's went into Tampa and come away with a 2-0 victory, Victory! Peace! opposite of the game 2 shootout as Thomas stops 31 in the shutout as the B's regain home ice advantage, not sure if that matters as so far they're 5-1 on the road. w00t!

Bruins are clicking at the moment, and Guy Boucher's dreaded 1-3-1 is finally crumbling before his eyes. U Suck

Yeah, Seguin is on a roll, although I'm sure you would like to see Lucic finally get going too.

Pissed that game 4 is at 1pm Saturday. Playoff hockey in the afternoon sucks bleh

Sharks hang on to a 4-3 win over the 'Nucks. Sweat

Can't believe Eager was a scratch! Actually, what I can't believe is that they didn't ship him off to the Budapest Fighting Rabbits of the Hungarian League.

^^ They would have shipped him there but all us hockey fans know they got knocked out in the second round in a stunning upset. Puppy Dog Eyes
Grrrr, B's fall apart in Tampa today, quick 3-0 lead after one period but that was all she wrote as the Lightning storm back with 5 straight goals to win 5-3, Grumble series is now knotted at 2 games each with the next game a home one for the B's.

hehe I didn't even have to click the link to know it was Grapes. Dude is a total nutjob, but will gladly watch him then look at Barry Melrose's mullet any day of the week Beaten

Missed the game, but heard the refs were the star of the show. Shake Head Reading some of the stats and Heatley has been a total non factor in this series, the bloody Sedins (or as Don Cherry likes to call them, the Sundins Nut) have more points than Heatley does in shots! Crazy.

Edit: http://youtu.be/m5NjcR3NsWU Wow!

Practice didn't make perfect for them, PP was the only thing the 'Nucks did right, they had only 13(!) shots on net the whole game, not a good save percentage for Niemi. Shake Head

Whew, nail biter tonight for the B's but they hang on for a 3-1 victory to take a 3-2 lead in games, could have been wrapped up except for Saturday's meltdown. Nut TB scored a minute in the game but the B's scored twice in the second and added an empty netter for the final score, star of the game was Thomas stopping 33 out of 34 shots. Victory! Peace!

Canucks are off to their third Cup final. Captain Ginger never bothered touching the Campbell Trophy hehe

Feel bad for the Sharks, what a flukey goal to end the season for them.

^^ Yes about that goal and the one to tie it up with 14 seconds to go, they easily had the chances in the series but seemed to fall apart in the 3rd period. Beaten Read the network isn't thrilled about the 'Nucks in the finals, none of the ratings will count for NBC, they better hope the B's make it if they don't want to set an all time low for ratings. Sigh, what everyone except B's fans wanted, a game 7. Grumble B's just couldn't stop the PP as TB scores 3 times on it Doh! and topple the B's 5-4. Big game though for Krejci with the HT, not enough though, both goalies weren't sharp either, Shake Head only 36 shots between both teams and only 27 saves... game 7 is in 45 hours from now. Fingers crossed
