I went through a marathon and finished SOS in one day. Here is my take on this drama:

1. Despite the bad rap I actually thought the plot was quite interesting.
2. This is probably the only show in which every character is not at all likeable, although Haruka (Uchiyama Rina) improved a lot in the last 3 or so episodes.
3. Whilst it is still a toss whether Takizawa or Fukada is the worse actor, Manato (Takizawa) is asking to be shot on sight while Yui (Fukada) deserves a life sentence.

I don't want to give away the plot and I'm not in the mood to use spoiler tags excessively, so I'll just keep my mouth shut. Suffice to say that, IMHO, this drama is the perfect example of a good script gone wrong.

BTW there is some discussion as to which of the female casts is hottest. I still say Mariko (Ishida Yuriko) is the hottest, followed by Haruka (Uchiyama). Yui (Fukada) is hot only when someone set her on fire - with all that baby fat she burn very nicely too!! Twisted

rofl rofl rofl we don't need no water, let the baby fat burn!!!

this show sucked. i couldn't even finish.....i had better things to do...like take a sh*t.

i'll forgive your weak defense of this piss poor performance...i haven't seen many doramas with "illicit" relationships (i'm using this term generally) but the one that i have seen that i thought was better was KKK03...there you can compare the acting of a young aya ueto and kyoko fukada here....actually there is no comparison.

I'll try KKK2003 in a few days, after I recover from this. Quite frankly I don't think much of Ueto Aya's acting - saw her in "Attack No. 1" and "Tsubasa no Oreta Tenshitachi - Celeb". I think see was trying too hard to maintain a 'kawaii' image - but at least she has one. Fukada, on the other hand, is a disaster on legs, and not very nice legs at that. Sweat

daikon aishi?

my friend told me she had those... lol

then I asked her if she looked like the Daikon Kami from Spirited Away, and she promptly smacked the back of my head.

Not even the mighty Sparks can help you overcome the awfulness.
