yes, there's a g1 special Smile continuation of the series. because if you can remember, the guys in g1 didnt graduate from HS yet. Smile

i got mine from d-addicts. im sure you can still download it from there.

yep, I downloaded mine from there a couple of weeks ago. I found it rather annoying that Sawada didn't confess his love for Yankumi in it though, but his speech at the end makes up for it. *melts away*

I think I'm slightly obsessed with Jun now ~hehe~, I spent the last few days printing off loads of pics of Jun, and now my walls are all plastered with them. hehe (My parents arn't very happy though Grumble , cos they spent ages painting my walls about a year & a half ago, and now there is no wall to be seen.)

-EDIT-
Woooo!!!! My 300th post! Dancing
In celebration, here's a banner I made sometime ago now, but never posted it (well, it is pretty rubbish Sweat ) :

hello.... I am new to the forum (and a relatively new matsujun fan after seeing him in Gokusen and HYD).

Can someone point me to a fansub version of kimi wa petto? Everyone keeps saying how good it is but I am only seeing a raw file. (I don't want to spend hours downloading a torrent file if I'm not sure if it's subbed... I don't know any Japanese words other than 'please', 'thank you', and 'idiot'... and I really want to see this drama now as well) Bow

Also, if anyone has any suggestions on what kinds of Japanese dramas to watch (again...I've only seen Gokusen and HYD) I will gladly spend my holiday break from classes watching them (even though I REALLY should be doing something more productive... oh well:)
thanks in advance.

JTV's got some NIIIIICE dvd-rip fansubs. You can get them from there, or if you have streamload. leave your name and I'll beam them to you.

welcome here!! w00t!

i watched kimi wa petto ripped and eng subbed by JTV...

torrent file is here: http://tracker.jtv-drama.net:6969/torrent.html?info_hash=e69cd4b9ee40bf6a7661430a8e6ffdbcfc4ec1d4

seems that its down right now but hopefully will be working again soon!!! enjoy!!!

kwp is great! if u want more jun action, he was also in kindaichi 3 when he was younger... kawaiii!! Smitten and then theres the movie tokyo tower where he played a more dark role... not so dark but very different. gokusen and HYD are my personal faves though Thumbsup but kwp comes close after... In love

some personal recommendations on shows that prolly still have active torrents are some from this season: nobuta wo produce (cute, funny, sometimes serious.. very good!) & 1 littoru no namida (a tearjerker...)... H2 is also really good, from earlier this yr (baseball but not just that)... more dark is taiyou no kisetsu which is also older... ahhh majo no jouken is sweet too... haha i have a lot of faves i cant even name em all..

Thank you everyone for the recommendations and the torrent links! i am currently downloading Tokyo Tower and Kimi wa petto. I'm sure I will be back again to discuss after I've seen them.

I'm currently *trying* to space out my episodes of HYD (I allow myself to watch only when I get some work or studying done first!). I'm up to episode 6 and, you know, despite the fact that I know what happens (I've seen/read every other version of this story...manga, anime, MG) I still find myself covering my face and screaming at the tv! So that means that this production is good because I still find it suspenseful! (and, staying on topic, I think Matsujun is the perfect Domyouji!)
thanks again.

Keep in mind that Kindaichi has a movie version also. He was in a movie with Aiba and Yokoyama Yu. In Domoto Tsuyoshi's dorama where he was studying to be a vet, Jun has a 5 seconds cameo in the last (if I remember correctly) episode.

i remember when kindaichi 3 was shown on TV in singapore, just before the show started, there was a sort of "handover" clip where Domoto introduced the new kindaichi who was our beloved Jun. This clip, sadly, cannot be found any where...if someone knows where i can find it let me know.

also, i downloaded kindaichi3 twice, once with chinese subs and another time with eng subs. in the chinese subs, the show started out with a different story than the eng subs. i'm really confused Confused so if anyone can clear up my confusion....thanks! Bow

lacilicili : i only know of the 2005 kindaichi movie version with Kame as kindaichi. is there another kindaichi movie with Jun?

Yup, that actually came out before his TV series. It has Anne Suzuki as Miyuki and the same police officer. The story is about the Magician on the Train.

It is the same magician who appeared at the end of the TV series. The story where they were at an island called Santa Lucia (or something like that) and have to solve the doll, some musical instrument to get the will of the rich man who recently died and left all his money to the first person who found the will. Kindaichi was helping a friend (Hase Jun - another Jrs) to solve while the magician was helping another lady guest at the mansion to solve.

Hope this helps. Not sure but I think you may still find it on YesAsia.

and i hope that i can see HYD soon, heard he's good in it w00t!

My friend just gave me an arashi poster today coz her mum sent over a magazine from japan and matsu looks so cool!! Victory! Peace!

hey rina, if u find jun's kindaichi movie with english subs, let me know. i have it with chinese subs and let's just say that chinese ain't my strongest subjects. thanks in advance.

does this mean that there's going to be another kindaichi series since jun played kindaichi in a movie before the tv series. so if there is then kame will be the new kindaichi? this is just pure speculation on my part.

jun definitely don't have enough drama or movies!!!~ he must not let his talent go to waste!!!

i started watching tokyo tower and i am having a hard time waiting for a scene with jun in it... and i gotta say... i don't like his character in it at all bleh so gross.. and i can't relate to who he is kissing.. stoopid lucky older women gets to kiss jun. and not girls his age or young (ME! ME! ME!)

and it is just me... mao (from hyd) is the only girl his kissed thats younger than him... i havn't watched all his stuff.. but i keep thinking jun just kisses older women lol..

strawberrynkiwi : i haven't seen all of Jun's works but those that I saw, u r right, Mao is the only girl younger than him that he has kissed. Well, he hasn't kissed that many right? He didn't kiss anyone in "Kindaichi3" and "Gokusen" and I think "Propose". He's kissed 2 older women, 1 in "Kimi wa Petto" and the other in "Tokyo Tower". He's been paired up to act with older women with the exception of "Kindaichi3" and "HYD".

But I read somewhere that Jun prefers older women tho' he didn't mention what the max age gap that is acceptable to him.

By the way, does anyone know where I can download the torrent for the worst dates that Jun has been in? Arigatoo.

Actually, jun did kiss his little girlfriend in Kimi wa Petto! But it is true that in most of his drama he falls for an older woman!!
