Wow, it turns out that this dorama project filled with TOP JAPANESE STARS 
(But I don't know the title lor   )
Beside Yutaka and Takako, there are :
Takashi Sorimachi, Toru Nakamura , Makiko Esumi , Yoshino Kimura , Misaki Itoh , etc
It looks like it's a big project, hopefully it's a good one.  |

i heard about this one.. but i can't seem to remember where.. but anyway it looks really interesting.. all a-list stars.. asahi tv must be spending a lot..   |

| It can't be Toshii to Matsu.....that came out already and it starred Matsushima Nanako instead of Tokiwa Takako..... |

Yup, TV Asahi tries to do the best presentation for its 45th anniversary. 
Big stars in one production surely attracts many viewers. |

That's right what Slackey said.
This new project is made by TV Asahi while Toshii no Matsu was a production of NHK.
I think TV Asahi is trying to gain the same success like "Toshiie to Matsu" by involving big stars in one production. |

First I have to apologize because the picture in this thread is not matching the topic.
I've already erased the picture that showing Yutaka T. & Takako T. in "Ruten no O-hi, Saigo no Kotei".
So don't get confuse with the unmatching picture here.

A big bravo for TV Asahi and maybe even a Tellie too! The Televiews annual awards for TV excellence are scheduled for later this month but it is unlikely anything will appear that could beat out Ruten no O-hi, Saigo no Kotei for the best feature-length drama award.
Yutaka Takenouchi gave the performance of his life in the role of the younger brother of the last emperor of China. The drama, which aired Nov. 29 and 30, was beautifully done. Takako Tokiwa was excellent as his Japanese wife, who helps him try to bridge the burgeoning gap between their two nations. The rest of the star-studded cast were outstanding, too. It is just another indication that there is no dearth of good actors in Japan, there are just so few good scripts to showcase their talents.
A serious historian may be able to find something to quibble about regarding this tale, but this drama went far beyond the invisible barriers that usually confine most Japanese wartime dramas. It showed the occupation of Manchuria and the machinations of the Kwangtung Army in a much harsher light than is usually done on Japanese TV. Five stars for this one. |

| Hi everyone! I was just wondering if you guys have seen Koi no Chikara? It stars Fukatsu Eri, Tsutsumi Shinichi and Yada Akiko. I haven't seen it so I'd like you're opinions. How was it? Was it any good? Also, was this series ever fansubbed? |
